for people going to school I would say grades are not everything... I did not try when I was younger because of my home life, I am older and moved out and have a family... I am very smart, and I want to apply myself... too many strong points for myself... if they just go on previous grades they may skip a lot who can do great.
I don't like prejeduce... they should just have grants based on income and expenses... so you take the income minus all expenses (including insurances!) and they can judge from there what you need.

I don't say people wouldn't join the healthcare system if it wasn't mandatory. But people have the right to make a choice. Most people have no criminal record, they haven't commited a crime and thus don't deserve this limited liberty. Whether it is taking away your freedom of movement( = prison) or the right to spend the money you worked for, the way you want, both are restrictments you shouldn't get with iff you haven't commited any crimes. One should be able to choose wether to join or not

me, i'm pro death penalty, pro mandatory military service, anti labour unions, pro animal rights(hey something in common), against speed limits, pro capitalist, not against taxes( I want them to be spent on public services in the economic definition tho), I'm pro convicting 14+ als adults. I'm against drama and extravagant stuff like the gay parade( act normal, you're gay so what, doesn't mean I want to see you dancing half naked in the street).and much more. The weaker ones will always get eridicated so that they can't breed, meaning less bad genes and more good genes in the total population, giving the next generations who don't get affected by the presence of bad genen among the pack, more chance to survive against threats

I know that fittest isn't the strongest, but the abillity to adapt. But that also means the abillity to do whatever is needed to become wanted by society. When you're needed/wanted, you'll get a respectable position in a good income, which in our society results in bigger chances to reproduct(as women are more attracted to rich and respected men than bums). I consider myself conservative, because i'm willing to weaken my demands and allow mutual health care, just not extreme as it is now.

This isn't fair at all and many people are going to be pissed over this. This is double standards and we are talking about health care. We need the smartest individuals. How can overall grades not be needed to be a good doctor? This makes no sense. Testing is of the most essence. Those grants should be given to individuals who demonstrate this.

White privilidge is when someone is granted an easier ride because they are white. If you have been the beneficiary of white privilidge(evidenced by the high ratings on a crappy video like this) why are you opposed to Blacks being privilidged to get an easier ride because they are Black. We aren't talking videos, we are talking about people's lives. Stop being lazy and work your ass off if you want to get accepted into medical college. I didn't have a free ride in college. I studied hard and so did every other white person. You know it's called loans that we take out. That means we have to pay them back. So, if you want to be treated equal than start acting like you are equal.

Hey! I don't care much for this plan, I don't care much for how our country is being led, and I don't care much for how we're going to pay for all of this. I don't usually talk a lot of politics on Youtube...but honestly, I miss George W. Bush. I know all about this "equality"...i've dealt with this before myself a bit but my main issue with this plan is the $. I like Mr. Obama, but not big on how we're going to pay for this. This is nonsense. It is high time to have the best person for the job doing the work.
In this day and age there are plenty of grants and student loans available so that anyone who wants to do the work to educate themself can get an education.
It is time to stop racial profiling and preference and let whoever wants to do the work and who has the talent be the one to get ahead.
If my life and physical well being is in the balance, I want the best person, regardless of race, for my doctor.

I agree that when it comes to our physical well being, the best person should become a doctor. This is really scary and I was shocked to find this article. When it comes to people's lives, it has to be based on one's intelligence. I will read more of this health plan concerning other issues. The media doesn't cover what it should.
