I think ultraman will never die out. It's become a pop icon culture for Japan. Which is kinda cool. I prefer the older versions of ultraman compared to the modern remakes. Too many CG effects, it kinda spoils the entertainment value.

Its interesting that there were no civilian casualties throughout the whole time that these fights and attacks occured, despite all city damage. and what's weird, its that the buildings were repaired in record time before the next episode and that the corpses of the monsters (monsters who've been beheaded or killed by blunt force (w/o vaporization))had been instantly cleaned up or disposed of mysteriously.

@ultimatezero12345 then where did they get all of the building equipment and resources? the shockwaves created from the blasts and energy beams should be enough to kill someone, including the people 2 blocks away. but still, them Japanese are the most efficient in cleaning up messes. i wish we had those kind of people to clean up our messes. It's just different suits :o The rough one is a far older suit than the smooth faced ones.

And I think they either couldn't find the actor for Taro, or he didn't want to do it. That's why in Mebius he only ever appeared in Ultraman form, but 80 and Leo had their human actors. :O
