The part abour Vivian telling Maude that her and Aruther dress up reminds me of that episode of Godlen Girls where Blanche describes one her and her late husabnd George's sexual life as involving Blanche dress up in a bed sheet and have George chase her down the hall with a flyswatter. LOL

From the way it was done, I can tell that this is the fault of whatever media outlet that aired this rerun and not the fault of the uploader: They actually cut the historic moment where Walter and Maude are standing completely still (backs to camera) after Vivian slams the door.The audience laughing was the longest recorded studio-audience laugh in TV history.Then suddenly Maude ever-so-slightly shifts her weight from one foot to the other, which made the audience laugh even much longer..(contd)

@ammarios In fact,this episode is a historical one(& literally a record-breaking one-look it up-)not just in "Maude" but in TV history for that particular moment in that particular scene for the length of the audience's laugh AND for what is documented to be the comedic genius of BeaArthur for shifting her weight from one foot to the other with her back still turned which just made the audience laugh so much harder & longer..I can't believe they could justify cutting it out of this rerun! Shame!

Ah, rats. They cut out a very funny joke. One of the Findlays asks, "Was that Saran Wrap she had on?" just after Vivian exposes herself.
