Such a wonderful band, such a wonderful album, and such a wonderful song. When I heard "Once We Were Trees" I couldn't believe my ears. This was an album from 2001? Sounded more like 1969! I wish there were more musicians like them, wholeheartedly embracing bands like The Byrds and Buffalo Springfield. Where did these guys go? Please don't tell me they became Further!

People compare them to the byrds, sure...BUT compare this 12 string sound to McGuins, this is way better. Plus the songs are just different.

I think they were Further first, and then they formed Beachwood Sparks. Some of them are in The Tyde, who kind of sound similar, check them out.
