@ondfritz2 I'm not doing research for you. Even new wranglers clearance isn't as high as a zr2 s10s or a blazer2. The horsepower is 200 v6, limited slip rear 31" stock tires. I run 32 m/t on a stock blaZeR2 with a smal T-bar crank. My friends 95 wrangler with 33s couldn't keep up with me offroad.

4X4's were around long before the first jeep was ever built.

The French built the first 4X4 in 1898.

Bantam were the ones who built the first "Jeep" or GP in 1940 seeking a government contract.

The problem with the newer jeeps is that they are so freaking wide. Wider trails are fine for the newer Jeeps and any number of 4X4's. They are all becoming smaller versions of Hummers.

I'll take my CJ-5 or my 1948 CJ-2A to what's being passed off for Jeeps now a days.
