  • I love this! Proud to be Catholic!

  • Whatever, these five guys went to seminary just like everyone else and it was simply a matter of time before ordination.

  • Five potential pedophiles added to the world's most powerful pedophile protection program. God, save our children.

  • @patrickomalleyy

That would be the unkind thing to say.

  • The Roman Catholic Church was started and created by a persecutor of Christians or what they were called in those days, disciples of Jesus Christ, "The Way, the creator of the Roman Catholic Church was the Roman Emperor, Constantine. In satan being true to his way, he come up with a can't beat them join them approach and inspired Constantine to start the Roman Catholic Church, it is not Christian and is not of God. It is filled with pagan symbolism and beliefs. Rebuke it in the name of Jesus

  • well the whole thing is messed up then because the "ihs" is backwards on the alb and the deacon's stole is on the wrong side, it should be on his left shoulder.

  • This is SO beautiful!

  • The archbishop of New York is the biggest (in more ways than one) hypocrite in the catholic church in America. He was involved in one priest abuse of children crime after another. This catholic propaganda should be see for what it is...bullshit.

  • @tonygem careful to point the finger my friend, for there are four pointing directly back to you. The Catholic Church is the Church of truth. It is the Church Jesus Christ founded through His Apostles (particularly Peter). In all reality, the percentage of Priest's truly involved in the recent abuse scandals is 2% out of all Priest's. That's right, 2%. However the media would like to paint a much different picture. I am not defending these Priest's who abused children by any means, they created

  • @tonygem a bruise that will take many years to heal. Do not judge many, for the act of a few. The Catholic Church is a beautiful Church which Christ Jesus Himself founded through His Apostles (particularly Peter). It is truly an awful thing to refer to this deeply inspiring and moving film as a piece of 'Catholic propaganda bullshit.' These men are sacrificing their very lives to follow Christ, and to minister to the hurting world through the giving of the Sacraments. I am praying for you.

  • Pray for Vocations !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • As a man hopefully attending college Seminary in the fall, I recommend all men discern the call to Priesthood. Also to watch the film "Fishers of Men". It will help you greatly. And don't try to be in a hurry. God has time, and so do you. One last thing. Seminary is a great place to discern a call to priesthood. One does not have to be sure in their choice when they enter Seminary. It is just a place to discern. Peace of the Lord be with you.

  • @solomonoftm Good luck, my friend!

  • At time 1:02... what is wrong with that picture?

Assuming that is the Archbishop, why is he wearing his episcopal ring on his left hand and not his right?

  • @topblknavy probably a flipped image after the video was shot...

...his call trumps our 'curriculum vitae'...

  • What a sacred call

  • Thank you, yellowballpoets, and I ask God to bless you and yours, too. I must tell you I also heard hate and out-and-out lies about the Catholic church. What's with these ignorant people? Hate and falsehoods are part of being a Christian? I don't think so!

  • As a Catholic i was taught sound doctrine, faith and love

When i went to high school i met Protestants for the first time, they were full of rancid hate and weak doctrine.I see they are now on YT.

God bless the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church ever faithful to the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  • As a convert to the Catholic church, I have never regretted a moment of my decision nor have I ever looked back. God bless the Catholic church and its priests.

  • @doothless May the grace of God and the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

  • @iloveamerica007 don't get caught up with the Hollywood style flowery speech and music, it's not Godly. Go to CofE parish priest, contact the vocations officer on diocese web site and talk to them or call CPAS. The Lord's work is Spirit filled because God will be with 'you', here on earth (not away with the fairies on some kind of power trip) hard work, real, involves people their burdens, pain. The reality of it is far removed from this emotive 'advert'.

  • @ukphotolady

"The Church confers Holy Orders only on baptized men (viri), whose suitability for the exercise of the ministry has been duly recognized. Church authority alone has the responsibility and right to call someone to receive Holy Orders." CCC 1598

I questioned why you viewed this clip askance. Upon visiting your channel, it seems that you oppose this teaching of the Holy Catholic Church. Please, change your mind.

  • @ukphotolady I'm not sure what you mean (to be perfectly honest); I find for me that it does speak to me deeply. I've been discerning the priesthood for a while now and still am. I'm afraid you might as well say that we shouldn't have videos of weddings showing the love and excitement of the couple. Watching this I do realize the dying to myself that will come and the challenges, but I know that there will be joy, peace and love and I see that in this video. Anyways, God bless you! +

  • Same here. Cant wait.. Archdiocese of Los Angeles

  • I love this. I want to be a priest and am currently a Senior in High School. It hurts to wait...

  • @CircusofPython All good things to those who wait. Besides, patience is a virtue. OK, now that I am done choking you with weak and cliched platitudes you must wait. Holy Mother Church doesn't desire impulse to the priesthood, she wants a steady, well discerned, loving process beforehand. The priesthood involves enormous responsibilities and sacrifices, so you must be prepared.

  • Join us!

  • Becoming a priest must be Epic!

  • BLESSED BE THESE PRIESTS, BLESSED BE THE ONE TRUE HOLY CATHOLIC CHURCH.

ALL CATHOLICS OUT THERE, ADD ME SO TOGETHER WE CAN DEFEND THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.

  • God bless the Catholic Church, the tide is turning and we will overcome the liberal secular world. We have to thank Popes JP II, and Pope Benedict XVI for standing strong against secularism, God bless these wonderful Popes and our wonderful priests.

  • As someone who hopefully begins his journey to the priesthood this Fall, this video brings me such joy and peace. May it touch others as it has me.

  • May these men and believers of God fill the world with love and beauty to God and others.

Thank you and peace be with you :)

  • I wana become a priest....but im 17....what can i do?

    and im not catholic...im anglican

  • @iloveamerica007

You follow the call by returning home to His Church, the Catholic Church. :)

  • @iloveamerica007 you can convert. there's not much of a difference between anglicanism and catholocism or become an anglican priest?

  • @iloveamerica007 You have plenty of time to become a priest. In the Catholic world, in some seminaries (most? IDK exactly) you have to have your bachelor's degree before you can go to the seminary. IDK what it's like for Anglican seminaries, however. If you want to become Catholic, go to your local parish and ask about RCIA; I completed my conversion to the Catholic Church just this past Easter, and I was 16 at the time, now 17 :) May God bless you, and may Our Lord keep you close to Him. :)

  • @Shiranui115

    Thank you

I don't think I'd convert to catholicism because I want to get married, have kids, that sorta stuff and also there are some theological things I don't really agree with when it comes to the Roman Catholic Church.

I want to talk to you about your plans in the ministry.

If it is ok you can message me and I will provide my email so I can talk to you about the ministry and the church.

Looking forward to hearing from you since we are the same age and I want you perspectiv

  • @iloveamerica007 I might be able to tell you a bit about Anglican priesthood as I am training for it myself in England. Add me as a friend and I'll message you, if you like?

  • @iloveamerica007 As goes the theological, check out catholic.com they have lots of stuff on there that might give you food for thought. God bless brother.

  • @iloveamerica007 My friend, convert! Just a joke. Do you want to be an Anglican priest or a Catholic Priest?

  • @LDellaPeruta

    Anglican priest

    yep

and im 18 now so it's becoming clear

  • @iloveamerica007 You should become an Ordinariate Priest! Perfect! At least your ordination would not be invalid. I'm sorry to burst your bubble friend, though.....

  • This is so beautiful, inspiring, amazing..simply amazing

  • Awsome, Priesthood is a give for all humanity. I pray for them

  • Awesome!!

  • God bless them!

  • May the lord help this noble man follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and Convert all those who deny the TRUTH.

  • how very true!

  • Very nice - what's the song?

  • In the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, God bless Pope Benedict XVI, the Roman Catholic Church and the Whole World today and forever!!

  • Stop being your own pope, and follow the Church Christ divinely instituted, who cannot deceive nor be deceived.

Leave these comboxes, you are not converting anyone, but driving away any love towards your sect.

Love and follow His Church; the Roman Catholic Church, instituted by Christ, with an unbroken lineage of Holy Pontiffs to Benedict XVI today.

As for me, I will follow the Church of Christ, His Roman Catholic Church, who cannot deceive nor be deceived.

  • @radtrad5

Interesting you can and even try to Judge the souls of the dead when firstly, Judgement is alone the perogative of God, Psalm 75:7 says,

"but it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another"

and secondly, Jesus himself commands you not to Judge others in Matthew 7:1-2, "Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get."

  • This is great!

  • What a truly awful thing to say. These priests are followers of Jesus Christ's Church. What you are preaching is false.

  • @Franciscan26 They Are instruments of God, you should respect them because they devote their whole life towards Christ

  • @SAYYOURROSARY

"But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for the LORD sees not as man sees; man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart." - 1 Samuel 16:7

  • LOL this is like a trailer for a new drama\action movie LOL

  • They are hoods that are attached to their grey robes. God bless these 5 priests and the wonderful, tireless Sisters of Life who are seen receiving the Eucharist in this film.

  • does anybody know why at 1:13 the two on the left have those things hanging off their backs?

  • it's because they're Franciscans of the Renewal. They were ordained as Franciscan priests whereas the two on the right were ordained as diocesan priests.

  • thanks

  • they r franciscan friars and there robe is different its called a habbit.. St.Francis use to were it then all the people who are friars today follow his teachings of poverty and only were the habbit the majority of the time... there many diff types of habbits to.. not only are there the gray there are diff kinds for diff type of franciscans...

  • Yes, it is the hood from the back of their religious habit. They are from the Franciscans of the Renewal.

  • great video

this shows Catholicism isn't boring, it is epic

  • OUTSTANDING !!!!!!!

  • Love it... it reminds me of Armagedon the movie

  • goosebumps.... God bless our priests as God blesses us with priests.

  • beautiful. well done. very good video.

  • This video is incredible. I felt it deep into my soul. Thank-you for whom ever brought this beautiful video to the world. Please pass this on so that the many will see it. God Bless Bishop Dolan and all the Bishops whom stand up for life...

  • Absolutely beautiful.

  • Good point. We must all remember to pray for the Catholic Church globally, not just in the US. God Bless Grassroots Productions for sending the good news in our age. God bless the Bishops, Priests and Seminarians and all who live our beautiful, timeless faith. These men who were ordained in '09 are 5 cool cats!

  • Waow.. You Americans have such a respect for the Holy Mass and for the Lord's priests ! Such a sacred and beautiful ordination would be called "integrist" in France... :(

Please pray for the Catholic Church of France : God be given back the central place He deserves !

    AMDG

  • Wow. I am just absolutely speechless. Videos like these make me so proud to be apart of the beautiful Roman Catholic Church. Priests, seminarians, and future priests (who haven't responded to the call yet but MUST because they'd be crazy to pass something like this up) you are all in my prayers!!! :-) God bless you good men. You are TRULY beautiful men.

  • whoa....I'm speachless

  • love it!

  • archbishop dolan is such a wonderful bishop, he is a model for all american priests, he brings such joy and truth

  • videos like this will inspire people to find their true vocation espically if that vocation if priest hood. you did it again grassroots, keep on inspiring future priest, like i fell called to be.

  • wow that's a pretty cool video

  • I give God thanks for this wonderful video and for the men who are giving their lives to Mother Church.

  • May God who has begun this good work in you now bring it to fulfillment.

    awesome vid!

  • Grassroots--you've done it again!

Priesthood punches the devil in the face!

  • amen! in this year of the priest, lets pray for them and all who are called to a religious vocation †

  • Let us storm heaven with our prayers for these priests and all priests all over the world!!!!

  • Breathtaking! I watched it three times in a row!

The new smiling priest at the end of the video was the deacon at my son's high school. He shared his vocation story with the theology class and it awakened the possibility of a priestly vocation in at least one young man there. May God continue to bless these new hands that bring us Christ.

  • Pure Awesome

  • Wonderful capture of a beautiful devotion to Christ and the faithful. I do feel the music is a bit too theatrical, as I found it to be in The Human Experience as well. I guess I don't like feeling like I'm being manipulated to feel emotion. Not that I think they were trying to manipulate. Too strong a word. It is a powerful story. Let the story speak for itself with the aide of music.

  • Amazing video! I loved it. May God bless us in this year for priests, to pray for and support our priests and those who are called, whether they know it or not. Father, send labourers into the harvest in our day. Send your Holy Spirit and renew our hearts and our lives. We ask this in the name of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Fishers of Men in 92 seconds.

  • What an awesome Video! I pray that God allows this to be played in many places...May the Lord Bless all the new priests who are so greatly needed and loved.....

  • you are so totally right. Let's pray to our Lord that he might send us many priests. To glorify his name, to serve him and their neighbours.

St Priest from Ars, pray for us!
