I think its flat out child abuse to have children raised by a gay couple without their permission. What does a 4 year old or 5 year old know? Do they know what gays do to each other? Gay marriage does not change or alter marriage between man and woman. When you work to pass a law that prohibits gay marriage you are using government to get in the middle of the private lives of others. You are not protecting your own marriage, you are invading other people's lives using government thus regulating their relationships according to your personal views of how strangers should live privately. Their ability to obtain a marriage license has no impact on your marriage license.

I think its flat out child abuse to have children raised by a gay couple without their permission. What does a 4 year old or 5 year old know? Do they know what gays do to each other? Freud actually stated that sexuality was quite fluid and that if people are to be allowed to choose between heterosexuality and homosexuality, many will choose the latter. If society announces that both forms of sexuality are to be on equal terms rather than heterosexuality is the ideal, then many will choose homosexuality. Str8 is best for society as that is how kids are born and raised w/ both MOMS AND DADS and should remain the ideal so that people gravitate toward it and not gay.

They separated because the colonists did not like having Virtual representation - they thought their rights as Englishmen were being violated as was the Ancient Constitution. In other words, they were being taxed without representation. Anglican, Catholic and Dissenter movements were welcome. For the love of God, I know more about American history than you do.

Whether a gay person wants to believe me or not, I am for gay rights and I do not consider a gay person as a second class citizen. The only people I hear calling gays second class citizens are themselves. Everything you are saying is right, my friend.

i want to applaud you for speak up. I know many of us are too scared to even admit they voted for 8. but i understand, too many crazy ppl out there will just attack you for any reason. Everybody better watch out. I actually felt unsafe in my class last wed, where everyone was opposing 8, except myself and a friend next to me. There has been threats everywhere on the net already, this is a serious thing.

But... that was the Liberal gov't for you... they will allow anything if they can gain more votes. I hate our fucked up value system in Canada. It's like europe, godless and unclean. Yea, it was the best election for me. I was checking the news every hour to see the votes. It was amazing, God has poured blessings onto California! Regardless what they are going to do to stop us. Stand firm and never give up for what is right! Amen!

Forcing people to do something just because it's been in tradition (lets bring back slavery! Those were fun and easy times) isn't right.
Things change, your morals should change accordingly.
If you are still crazy over god and that's your reason for voting yes, then you need to grow up and think about this for a second. An invisible man in the sky, a hell that is proven to not be there, and creationism. All brilliant ideas.
