You said you panicked? Why? Looking at Sheva's business suit, you must have completed the game at least once. Just kill the chainsaw majini the same way you did last time. And if you had maxed your firepower upgrade for your S75 rifle, it does 2000 firepower each hit. You can own him with a few headshots. Or was it a new gun... Also, another tip. A melee hit does more damage than your fully upgraded pistol. Your pistol does about 250 firepower. 1 melee = 300+ firepower. Combos do extra damage.
@ryaneoh you buy the buisness suit from xbox or get the special version for ps3. not win the campaign learn ur facts. Also i HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt they had to option to max out the rifle at the time cause it looked like a first run and you can only upgrade damage once or twice. OR they were using pistols cause re5 is way to easy with an smg, shotgun, or magnum..... you are very correct on the melee-combo stats though.

Heres a tip I use, what you do is before you go fight him set up your guns or grenades to the top or left invetory because theres this thing what I call called quick equip. What you do is instead of keep opening your invetory to select a weapon you press the D-pad to equip one of your weapons, for instant, pretend your handgun is ontop, you press the top D-pad and it will quickly select it. Easy as that, I know this was long time ago but hope this info helps when ever you play it

At first you don't have a clue what to do in this game lol, but eventualy you get the hang of it and it gets pretty easy after a while. My brother just bought a 360 this year
so before i wasn't able to play it : ( But it's a great game, i realy liked it.

@GatewayDXSeries I know the barrels alone won't kill him. I saw a tutorial but i think in the end the guy didn't even kill him he just escaped somehow i'm not sure.
This game looked okay. I remember when the demo came out. The fact that the game was more action based turned me off. I liked the horror elements of RE-RE3. Those were the best RE games ever. RE4 was horror and action fused together. I just hope the devs go back to that horror element of RE!
