lol... I never saw any occasion in naya... The only thing I see it's that naya tryes to put small creatures in with Ranger of Eos like Wild Nacatl to make them 3/3 or a Bloodbraid Elf to cascade into a Wolly Thotcar but never anything about 5 or greater power...

i did't really understand but if you wonderd what first strike the abilety does i will help you out.

a creature with first strike does what it says it strikes first with means if it kills the other guy, the other creature wont have a chanse to hit back so a 4/1 that get first strike will sudenly start to survive a lot of encounters

When a creature with Devour comes into play Where Ancients Tread will chain it and the Devour effect chains to that so if you devour to a higher than 5 monster WAT gets its effect

Assuming you're talking about the card 'Where Ancients Tread' :

The ability triggers when a creature comes into play. After it came into play he pumped it, but the ability allready triggered, so the ability doesn't revolve because the creatures power wasn't high enough at the time the ability triggered.

To be more accurate, the ability DIDN'T trigger, because a creature with power 5 or greater didn't come into play.
