It is obvious you did not read the directions carefully. Did not apply as directed. Keep surface wet until it foams. You did not spray enough and keep surface wet with sharkhide.

thanks for the info. I'm restoring a 50's feathercraft right now. do you have pictures of how it looks now? Did you put an engine on it?
