Jesus is neither Christian nor Jewish. He is God. He was only born in a Jewish family because that was Christianity before Christ. Christ came to bring the next step to Judsaism, which was his teachings, thus Christianity. The only reason there is still Judaism is because some powerful religious leaders were losing power and influence so they convinced many Jews not to follow Christ. Christians and Jews should not hate each other because we are very interconnected.

Also, throughout the book of John he keeps referring to himself as "I AM," which is a lot more significant than it sounds; the phrase "I AM" means that he is god (Exodus 3:14). Also in John 10:31-33 it says directly that the reason the Jews stoned him was because he claimed to be God--which is blasphemy. Sheesh, I'm an atheist and I know your book better than you do.
A somewhat vague and misinterpreted understanding there. You can't just read this book and expect to interpret what it says just like that.. after all, if you've studied it like you indirectly say you have, you'd know that what is written is hidden in mystery, and not everyone can understand it just like that.. and not everyone can teach it correctly. My arguement to this song would be the fact that he is promoting a relativistic worldview to his listener. In a way he is saying all roads lead to Rome. I understand that some use religion in the wrong way. I very strongly disagree with his Post-modernistic view of all things teach the same thing. Although money is the root to alot of evil in the world as well, also power/might. The extremist (muslim, but not always) leaders usually just use the religion to mask their true, dirty agenda. Which could be more power/money. But religion can be diverging and breed hate between the different factions which is not good. But religion can also be unifying and bring faith to one. I'm just sayin, it's not all black n white.
