  • The Hsi Lai temple provides not only a place of worship but also a forum for lectures, discussions, classes, communal rituals, and other Buddhist services and activities. The massive physical structure f the temple includes the Bodhisattva Hall, the Buddha Hall, V.I.P. suites, reception rooms, classrooms, a gift shop, the auditoriums, a museum, a memorial pagoda, a library, administrative offices, and living quarters for the monks and nuns.

  • I went the for a field trip last week :]

  • I've been there a few times, but I can't seem to figure out what the other buildings are for. I've only been in the Bodhisattva Hall, Main Shrine and the courtyard.

  • Great video. Please come to the temple to see us. English meditation classes are at 9:20- - 10:20 am, and Buddhism classes are at 10:30 am - 12 noon Sundays and are excellent.
