Rourke's comeback to boxing was nothing but a whim of a spoiled actor living in excess, a complete joke and mockery of the sport. A couple of fights don't turn your face into saggy mush, especially theatrical set ups such as in this case.

His lengthy drug related habbits shortly before that, on the other hand, caused an erray of irresponsible behaviour including spousal abuse and nearly cost him his career.

Drugs fucked up Mickey Rourke's looks, not boxing.
