I'd like to hear some people's opinions as to why D-Nice didn't blow up. Not that any of the other folks from BDP really had successful careers outside of the group with the exception of KRS-One (a god, all respect due, outside of Kool Herc probably the second most influential person in Hip Hop, but he's on some serious bullsh*t of late. You are a major voice in Hip Hop, not THE voice of Hip Hop). Anyway, I thought D-Nice had decent production and above-average word-play, so what happened?

This is just my opinion, but i think he lacked a marketable persona. He was basically a clean slate. KRS was more direct about who he was. Everyone else was just kind of there. 25 to Life is still one of my favorites from him but I still feel that was the issue.
