hes not running and punching, hes squaring up, and then throwing a barrrage of punches while planting of each foot while coming forward kinda like u do when burining out on mits for the last 10-30 seconds of a training rd, an exercise that originated in boxing and something mma picked up. plenty of eilite boxers do this, especially when trying to finish an opponent.

What you boxing fans don't know about Silva is if he don't respect you, he wont even try to fight you. He will try and humiliate you. Watch at 00:19 he punches the guy in the thigh. That's to show that he doesn't respect his opponent's skills.

@avreeves You don't see that among the best boxers. They keep their stance. Secondly good boxers aren't backpedaling to such an extent that an opponent would need to gallop towards them squared off. I've never seen elite boxer run and punch. They will spring, or shuffle forward but not run.
