I grew up in a house with 3 older brothers in the 70's, one punk, one into rock music and one was into Kraftwerk, Tubeweway Army etc, all three were way ahead of there time, i was so lucky, my music has become so eclectic because of these three. however one album that struck me along with Never Mind The Bollocks and Unkown Pleasures was this album that featured Spirit of Radio. Listening to that album talking about life in rock pools and radio waves was just amazing. Long live Rush, your amazing

The first time I saw Rush , I paid 1 dollar and two cents to see them . It was a radio promo in the mid seventies for WLRS 102 in Louisville Kentucky. I took my son to see them on the Snakes and Arrows tour , lets just say he's a fan now . We saw them again on their last tour . That makes six for me . Anyone who denies their legend status as musicians has either never seen them live or is a complete musical retard .

@Jmansfie1 Horrid is a bit harsh. When i would listen to their old stuff it just seemed like his voice didnt fit well with how hard everyone else sounded. Though I guess I'm just picky when it comes to singers. I didnt like geddy lee when i first heard him but because of the insightful lyrics i could still bear it.

Also I usually listen to instrumentalist like steve morse so that sort of tells you I prefer there to be no singer. Opinions, thats music for you.
