WII sucks and should have been better than the gamecube but what they have done is made it look and sound good but overall it is crap. BULLY for example is extremely glitchy, they need to get better games otherwise the WII will never catch up to the PS2's sales.

The good games for the Wii are diamonds in the rough. You have your good ones like Brawl, Metroid, LoZ (though it was originally meant for GC), Wii Sports which is a laugh with people.
But that would also be a main problem with the Wii for me. Majority of the games are meant for multiplayer gaming. Yes it is fun when you can get 4 people together for a game but the Wii isn't a console for the people who just want to sit down, chill out and play.
If you don't own a wii right now and you want to get one, wait till late 2009 or early 2010, so you can avoid the so-called FAMILY FRIENDLY era (it sucks.) Most current wii owners (including myself suffer from it.) 2009-2010 is starting to have a game lineup.

I bought one thinking it would be good but I was surely mistaken. I had it for a year and then traded it with my friend for an Xbox 360. It was the best trade I ever made.

Just because there are a lot of games aimed for a casual audience does not mean that there are no good games for dedicated gamers. You just need to look for them.
I have already looked. Of course I did find some games, but having to dig them out of the endless pit of casual (and in a lot of cases awful) games is something I really don't want to have to do. The search for a good game might be entertaining sometimes (you never know what kinds of hidden gems you might find) but not for everytime I want a new good Wii-game, that isn't one that Nintendo themselves produced.

I have already looked. Of course I did find some games, but having to dig them out of the endless pit of casual (and in a lot of cases awful) games is something I really don't want to have to do. The search for a good game might be entertaining sometimes (you never know what kinds of hidden gems you might find) but not for everytime I want a new good Wii-game, that isn't one that Nintendo themselves produced.
