in the beginning of the fight someone else was trying to join in because they knew kaspar couldnt handle himself. and the hipcheck may be legal for now but in the future it will be banned just watch it is dirty. u cant just avoid a hip check u have to completely stop on a dime or take it. and the hip check is what blows out great players knees like cam neely. it is a cheap shot.

That is bullshit, Kaspar had dropped them before and after this. Most times he got the worst of it, but he almost always got the last laugh when he checked that person later on in the game. Kaspar always said he learned the art of the hip check from another Islander, Denis Potvin. Not that Denny taught him, but he watched enough to learn how it was done. BTW, no one fucked with Maly, just ask Raggie fans what Maly did to Joe Kocur in the 1993 pre-season.
