  • we went to safe n sound central coast australia to install an infant capsule. we trusted them to make it safe for our baby but they put it on the side to make it "easy to get the baby in & out" but didnt say.well we were SMASHED INTO BY A 4WD with a BULL BAR it hit the door right into her side & she was traumatized.

the SAFEST PLACE is in the MIDDLE how dare you not consult us before making that decision i would never have opted for the less safe & more convenient route. i am SO ANGRY at them.

  • We have a car seat rear facing to 55 Ibs (25 kg). My son is 5 years and he is rear facing. In Sweden it is strongly recommended to keep children rear facing until the age of 4-5 yares.

  • i have three carseats. my daughter is very tall for her age. she is 3 years old and is like 45 inches tall already. she had a rear facing one that fit her till she was 35 lbs and then she got way two tall for it rear facing so we put her forward facing in that one but she was way two tall for that seat. we had another one that went only to 40 lbs and she only uses that one in her nanas car. the seat that I have now goes up to 65 lbs foward facing with height ajusments for the head. and love it.

  • I put my kid in the trunk, along with the mom, makes for a safe peaceful trip and adds to the crumple zone

  • I have yet to see any useful instructions on how to properly install, ANYWHERE ! I'm not seeing any detailed video, the manual SUCKS! And I mean ABSOLUTELY and TOTALLY *STINKS*. Screw you Graco.

  • I second the comment about the overhead shield. Why are those things still legal? They are nicknamed "Skull Busters" by nurses. Terrible!

    Great video, though!

  • make the seat easy to assemble, the instruction booklet doesnt help much really,.... they should install them for us. bloody dick heads.

  • My carseat didn't need assembling, it came all put together. All I had to do was strap it into the car. I had my seat checked by a tech and she had no suggestions for improvement. If I can do it, anyone can.

  • I noticed they showed a shot of a kid in an old fashioned overhead shield style car seat during this video without commenting on how unsafe that particular kind of carseat is. Yikes!!!

  • In Australia most seats are rearfacing to 9KG,nearly 20 pound. Some newer seats 12kg,26.5pound.This is MAXIMUM weight our seats hold rearfacing. My girl Toni died, she WAS using a belt that was LEGAL. We are fighting for safer LAWS. our 5pt harness seats only go up to 18kg (39.5 pound).

click on my name to see videos I made to raise awareness in Aus on child safety. google "belletoni" for a foundation we set up to stop what happened to my daughter happening to other children.
