what version of firmware they started with Hey dirtbag1221, what version of firmware are you currently running? As the video is only applicable for people with old N80s still running old firmware and without an internet tel. folder.

Tip: DONT remove the USB cable or turn off your cel at anytime. It will corrupt your phone. If software update fails (wc happens to me 3x) just close the application and restart it and restart it immediately. NEVER unplug the USB or turn the cel off.

The first time my software update fails ( it hangs identifying the phone) I had to restart the application but wont budge. I was forced to use the task manager (Ctrl +Alt +DEl - on Vista/XP) and close the updater from there.

You need to download the Nemesis Service Suite and change your product code to 0533239, and then run again the nokia software update. =D

You id**ts..Nokia n80 has in-built wi-fi,and the difference between the n80 and the n80ie is only in the software,there's no hardware difference..So the upgrade from normal n80 to n80ie is an official nokia upgrade!!!! :D:D:D

Another point to make also about the video. I think he is using a different phone why? well did you notice the video cut short. And also when the phone as been upgraded the phone as to be reconfigered. The version on the video is V4.0623.038. The version on the Nokia website is higher V4.0623.0.42 and once you have upgrade with this version you cannot downgrade. You do not get the extra folder as explained. I upgraded before I knew about all this, so for those not upgraded yet don't go there.
