one question I have about this game is, is it similar to ipod/iphone version of the sims 3? I don't like the limitations of the iphone and I find it REALLY dumb.

To answer some questions:
1.) NO you cannot have kids.
2.) You can still buy a lot of furniture and customize your Sim and pet greatly.
3.) You can get a Job.
4.) There are more then two places you can visit.

3) Can you build houses
4) Can you buy a good amount of furniture
