those subs are only rated at 380 rms a piece. it looks like your giving them to much power, but I am looking into them and wondering how they handle lows? the frequency range goes down to 25hz and the other ones im looking at go down to 18hz. These have a higher sensitivity though so i'm still unsure.

i have a 12" p2 rockford sub with a kenwood class d mono amp model kac-9104d 900 watts rms x 1( 2 ohms)..... should i use a capacitor?

When you play music really loud, does the light in your car blink when the bass is coming? If it does that, then you need a capacitor. :) I have experienced that my lights in the car is blinking when it comes really heavy bass in some songs, and I have two capacitors already.

if you can, try and get hold of a good deep cycle battery to put under the hood and then get rid of the crapacitors :)

its not worth it if u get rid of the compacitors ur still going to lose power to the battery u need the compacitor for the bass if it hits hard plus a compacitor is a battery with a little component the keeps the power flowing through

I think they are great. I am really happy with them. I know they are not so expencive eather so you get a lot's of bass for the money.

I guessing with your bass reflex box you may not have a problem, but with my box, it being ported. When I listen to trance/techno the bass response sometimes is off...I heard that type of music sounds better on sealed boxes. As much as I like listening to that kind of music I dont because of that reason.

I like the heavier stuff like Infected Mushroom, XXXTC and such...but still like the softer stuff like Tiesto, Oakenfold, Dyk, Daftpunk. But with the heavy constant beat like Infected has it seems off.
