now here i was thinking "hey i have couple of comments by the panel members that i found really funny and i want to post them.." and i scroll down to post it and suddenly i see everyone discussing algebra.. i had to scroll back up and check what i was watching
Hmm it should be d(2(x+5^3/4))/dx or first define y = 2(x+5^3/4), and ask what is dy/dx. In your problem formulation you have not defined y, which is why as posed the question has no solution.
Right, heto see my original post. The question as posed cannot be solved. However, in the absence of any other information, we can at best say that y is not related to x. Hence, the first order differential of y wrt x will be zero.
@moridin909 My point is that we shouldn't assume y is unrelated to x. We should leave it at what you first said; the equation is, with present data, unsolvable (and irrationally posed).
I absolutely love Alan.. I almost splattered wine all over my screen..

How could they possibly know what percentage of men in the 40s used hookers?

I thought Sean was going to say that the guy was drinking Baileys out of a shoe, a bit disappointed when he said vodka.

Who the fuck is Dave Spikey? Thank god they got rid of him. He's like your mate's embarrassingly horrid dad.

@InNewMusicWeTrust1 well done you, getting your masters degree at the age of 15.
Next time at least make sure your profile corroborates your lie

If Beckham cannot do BASIC maths. he should try this
Dy/Dx of 2(X+5^3/4)
this is easy.

@ne1l007 that doesnt even make sence m8 and i have a math's masters degrie

@InNewMusicWeTrust1
Degrie??
I bet you do not have a maths masters.
That was a basic question i asked.
Differentate with respect to X the equation
2 bracket X plus 5, to the power three quaters. .
which will give you 2..
a very basic form of differentation

@moridin909
you can still solve it. it will be a 1 over something answer
ne1l007 1 year ago
@ne1l007
It will be zero as y is not given to be a function of x. Hence, when you differentiate it wrt x, it will be zero.
moridin909 1 year ago
@moridin909 This would make the equation unsolvable, not zero, wouldn't it?
