Phill is just such a good guitarist , it almost defies description. His playing is so emotional , it sends chills and his tone and working of that old Strat are second to none. Yrs ago my buddy TDR ,said he was going to be big and he is!!. Rock on Phill.

Couldn't have put it better myself Kim. I think people just get jealous of Philip sometimes thats why they have to put him down.

People don't know what's feel. They think: "This guy's slow, so he feels, this guy's fast, he's not feeling". That's not true. Philip has tremendous feel even when he's playing fast !! Anyway, some people just don't get it.

Ya Kim I agree with that statement. I think Phil is one of the best guitarists alive right now (Notice I said "alive"). But ya certainly some of the best playing has fast parts in it but the thing is that you have to let your audience yearn for it, make em earn it so to speak and so there has to be a balance. I think sometimes Phil (and a lot of other guitarists nowadays) could use less notes sometimes. I dare say that Iit's easier to cover up a lapse in feeling by playing fast
