after the woody 1996 caprice woody station wagons died out real rea shame, becuase cars look so alike and minimal with little bling on them. i wouldnt say wood is bling but it is certainley character which few modern cars have. hopefully in the future we will see cars with the same characteristics rather then these minimal one colour plastic boxes we drive in the modern period.
Quite a bit of variety there! Lots of interesting mods on those things! I thought it was interesting how the spare tires were mounted on the backs of some, while others had truck like tailgates in the back. Great video!!!
Like your edits and the mix of boardwalk and background. Nice interiors. Those balsa/redwood laminate boards sticking out the back was an absolute drift in time. I have a 54 Ford I want to restore someday---with lots of help. There's also a 48 Ford, increasingly rare with the exception of those that become habitat for field mice and rabbits. Keeping our culture intact. Most excellent--and professional-level editing!!
I loved this so much! Thanks for sharing moment in history, from the hood ornaments to the Woodies themselves. "Keep Santa Cruz Weird." What a howl! Great video and five stars, of course! I also hope that life is treating you well.

They're great cars - My camera is a Panasonic GS320, I edit in iMovie 06, and export at 850 x 480.

There were a couple for sale.... your 40K won't quite make it - More like $50-80K (and I'm sure many, many times that for the Rolls Royce).

The creativity of the modifications is why you can look through hundreds of them and be just as wowed at the end of the day as you were at the start.
