  • american football is known as faggot rugby

  • Awww yeah this is where my club plays

  • England Saxons 87

    USA eagles 8

    Haha!!!!

  • @macphersonleedsunite USA is obviously the underdog they don't promote it in america and they barley know what rugby is down there so. Don't act like such a child Its a sport have fun with it.. don't act like a pig.

  • @macphersonleedsunite

No shit, the entire squad plays professionally for first tier, world class clubs such ie. Saracens, Tigers and Harlequins etc.

  • ae the saxons englands B team ? and eagles USA B team

  • I don't appreciate the music...come on

  • england saxons erm bulldogs or lions im pretty sure it should be whoever called it that needs a fat slap

  • Wow, Americans look 300 years away from being decent...What a blow-out!

  • I didnt even no we had a rugby program wow I doubt even theres over 500 people playing rugby and the only sport that we americans suck at that has alot people playing the sport not just a couple is soccer/football and we beat the aussies in that were rank 14 in the world which isn't that bad also their is a reason why were always first in the olympics because were the best but at soccer/football of course

  • the USA would sill suck at all those sports. Australia have a pop of 20 million and they r wooping everyone's ass at all sports. But yeah i feel for u guys, alot of ppl talk shit about the USA. If u didnt realise it before, im an aussie.

  • they have gotton alot better

we will se what happens if EOS does what he promises. if so we wil have a few more players playing pro and hopefully a succesful build up to the next WC

  • Haha nahh mate. Im Australian and the USA really need to work on their rugby program. Even Canada is beating them.

  • @12105258 Whats wrong with Canada? our rugby program has been gaining a lot of momentum and its one of the fastest growing sports here. our national team, although not as strong as Aussie, Boks, or even England is still working hard and making a name for themselves. and we do quite well on the 7's circuit ;) haha cheers!

  • @imnotemo14 of course canada has a rugby team they play it on ice its called hockey

  • @djmarku I don't get... that's not Rugby, that's hockey...

  • @imnotemo14 yeah mate u boys almost beat us in Hong Kong! yeah i actually like canada so yeah i just mean its great to see the Canadians beating down their irritating nationalism :) mate the canadian team should catch up to England eventually, their pretty shite hahaha no bias here being half irish half aussie ;)

  • @12105258 haha, well at least our rugby programs are growing here, good to see everyone starting to get into it here and not asking what a rugger ball is everytime i throw it around outside of the club lol haha half irish and aussie eh? you have it in your blood then mate haha, cheers!

  • For a country just at the start of playing real internationals, the USA are doing great. Just look at the match between USA and England in 2007. BTW, I'm English.

  • gotta love ppl talking constant shit on usa... were fucking trying our best, cut us some slack. ur sports in order of popularity are soccer then rugby... the usa is basball, football, basketball, hockey, lacrosse... then not even rugby, golf fucking beats rugby in the usa... imagine if we all the athletes from all these sports change their focus to rugby!!!

  • @SoCalRugger you will never beat south africa

  • ok... and ur point, i happen to be a huge springbok fan! but i live in the usa, so im a fan of both. i really dont see the point to ur comment pal...

  • @SoCalRugger i'm just saying the usa is the most loudmouth arrogant country and its funny how you 'dominate' the nfl or a sport only you play but you get on the world stage and play a game everyone plays and you get owned i bet most americans think africa is a country then you say imagine if we all played rugby as if you could be the best typical american arrogance try all you want you will never best south africa new zealand or austrailia

  • @360cbh

looks like you're the only arrogant loudmouth here buddy

  • @SocomSOB yeah but imagine how much the u.s would shout their mouth off if they had a good rugby team. i'm just saying you go on about nfl and this shit that only you and canada (diet america) care about so ditch it, play rugby, join the rest of the world, lets have some fun. peace

  • @360cbh

youtube search Miss south carolina pageant screw up ;) youll enjoy that haha

  • Comment removed

  • @360cbh we dont just dominate sports that only we play. we just dont dominate sports that we barely play. most american rugby players probably didnt even play an organized match until college. but look at sports that the whole world is a part of and you will see that americans typically dominate athletically. look at the olympics. you are just mad that you arent as tough as we, the "youthful and sinewy races" of america, are.

  • @CORYSAYRE1 Yeah those American gymnasts with russian parents are really true Americans. Get the fuck out of here. All real Americans are a primitive useless bunch of indians who were pillaged to high hell. Modern day American equals from some other country first.

  • @360cbh gymnastics lol. im talking about swimming, track, wrestling, and the like. on real equal playing fields, we win. and its because most of us are descended from people who chose to come and hack their lives out of a wild and new country. we are a mix of all the most perfect humans from many countries. "Colorado men are we, From the peaks gigantic, from the great sierras and the high plateaus.....From Nebraska, from Arkansas, Central inland race are we..."

  • @CORYSAYRE1 Track dominated by blacks who chose to go to America and had a great time in the beginning. Shut the fuck up your so ignorant.

  • @CORYSAYRE1- your country was founded by gays who wanted some privacy to get it on. haha, joke, well sort of cause many gays did go there to avoid being prosecuted. also many people went to the colonies because they had alternative beliefs in religion and many other stuff. so no your country isn't descended from people who wanted to tough it out in the new world, but by gays and religious freaks.

  • @CORYSAYRE1- and the us has a population 5 times bigger than the UKs, so if your so dominant why didn't you get 5 times more medals in the 2008 olympics? and your population in 12 times bigger than australias but you didn't get 12 times more medals than them either. also, china topped the medal tables in 2008 so your far from dominant at the olympics.

  • @CORYSAYRE1 You're actually a combination of pioneers, cast outs and rejects, you wanna talk about being descended from tough nuts try maybe australia where most people were felons

  • @CORYSAYRE1

You have to ask yourself why you don't play sports everyone else plays? Is it because you can't handle not being the best at them? The fact 2 of your 3 national games are non-contact and the other one htey're padded up to the eyeballs and theres breaks every couple of minutes in all of them shows, you're not as tough as you seem to think. Americans are getting weaker and weaker athletically as the rest of the world catchs up with your technology. Get ready for your ego to take a hit

  • @evenflow1981 dude your other top 3 sports are what? Cricket and Soccer/Football w/e? You cant talk about toughness outside of rugby. We also have the burgeoning UFC, as well as, Boxing, Hockey, lacrosse....(doubt you even know what lacrosse is) i love rugby man trust me. I play for my highschool, but i gotta defend my home turf on this one. American sports overall are more physical.

  • @thewarnerbro Rugby , Boxing , MMA , Football (not the game but the fights after) and the typical fighting attitude that Britain and most British people have, we can talk all we want about being tough . There are many factors outside of sport which show toughness , and if you don't think us ol' Brits are well your greatly misinformed , and you should probably brush up on some history.

  • @thewarnerbro We know what Lacrosse is, like your baseball, it is played by girls in this country.

  • @thewarnerbro

What are you on about?! The only contact sport America has is American Football and they're padded up to the eyeballs and stop every minute or two! Boxing was invented in Greece and the modern form developed in Britain so not sure how you get that as an American sport. Just because the US has the best promoters we're meant to believe it has the best fighters which is bollocks.

  • @evenflow1981 Have you ever played american football? I can tell you for sure it hurts A LOT more. And again, i play rugby and i love it, but football hits feel like your being hit by a truck. You can hit harder with pads its simple physics.

  • @thewarnerbro

I have played both and I find Rugby to be a lot more physically demanding. As I've already said, the non-stop nature and constant hits of Rugby are far more physcally demanding than the odd hit in American Football. I wouldn't call American Footballers world class athletes. They are specialised roles that don't need an all round athlete. I'd gladly put the conditioning of the average rugby player up against that of an American Footballer any day of the week.

  • @thewarnerbro I have and the hits balance out for me they can be hard as they don't have to think about follow up play as much but I find the pads balance it out on that side as rugby hits don't have pads to or helmets so can hurt a lot more. Again I'd also say Rugby players stamina dwarfs that of an American football player just do to the styles of play each game possesses.

  • @thewarnerbro But the pads also absorb up to 50% of the force...

  • @evenflow1981 And what contact sport do you'll have other then rugby?

  • @gator20347 Football ( soccer) which used to be contact until all these stupid rule changes. Lacrosse which isn't really very rough IMO. Boxing. Theres also an ancient traditional game thats played near where I live every Shrove Tuesday called Shrovetide football. Type 'Royal Shrovetide Football' if you're interested.

  • @thewarnerbro

I have heard of lacrosse ( the rest of the world doesn't tend to be as ignorant as other cultures as you guys are). Both lacrosse and Hockey are, again, sports in which the players have a hell of a lot padding and protective gear. Another thing I look at in 'toughness' is physical stamina. American sports are so stop-start that you don't need as much as games like football and rugby where action is constant. Look at some of the fat slobs who play Gridiron. Sumo wrestler design.

  • @evenflow1981 Yeah some are fat asses, but that doesn't mean their not world class athletes. Size just comes with some positions in football.

  • @evenflow1981 Dude. Everybody that plays on an American football team works out the same. Some people are just meant to be that size. Least they lifted more then you do.

  • @gator20347 If guards and wide receivers are getting the exact same training then someone is a shit coach! They should be training differently as they require different skills! Rugby players will naturally have more stamina and better aerobic respiration as there are nowhere near as many breaks in rugby as there is American Football. They don't get a rest after about 30 seconds of playing and have to keep picking themselves up getting back in postition and make tackles.

  • @SoCalRugger Yeah and this match seems like a bit of a miss match, look at that rugby ground compared to Twickenham where the England national rugby team play, its pretty obvious its not quite the same standard or popularity in America. everyone hating on the american rugby players should be encouraging Americans to become fans of rugby and make the sport more popular so we can have proper matches

  • All the usa have got good for them is ngwenya

  • and Todd Clever

  • usa almost beat england at the world cup there getting better everytime

  • @welshrugbystar90 almost? how is 28 - 10 result in the USA coming near to defeating england? that's 18 points, or 2 converted tries + 2 penalties. Plus England were deliberately playing slack to reduce fatigue for upcoming, more difficult matches. The USA performed worse in the 2007 world cup than they did in 2003, so I would disagree that they are getting better everytime. Losing to the England Saxons 63 - 10 isn't much of an improvement.

  • well you also got to take in mind hat in the first half phill vickery got intruble for trippeing Pauel emerik and both of englands trys came when usa had a man in the sin bin

and most importantly USA is mostly Amature playing against a ENTIRE pro professional team and that is not impressive at all for England and considering a national team is suppose to have the best players from thier country competing that isnt a good performance from england at all

  • USA suck at international sports.

That why they stick with there baseball, basketball, american football and hockey!

  • olympics....

  • Just wait till Black Americans discover rugby. They will beat the shit outta everyone like they do in every other sport they play.

  • You created a Youtube account just to post this comment? What an utterly pathetic character you are.

  • did usa play the saxions at the last churchill cup?

    i know they mashed georgia

  • ye england saxons played usa eagles and the score was

USA eagles 17 England saxons 56

  • yea they always get killed by them.

i think it is because the england saxons are trying to prove thier self to the rest of the world. and they play pro not many guys on te usa team play pro rugby

  • Cueto ahead of Varndell

Cueto is a natural born Finisher

  • usa sucks

  • Comment removed

  • thrashed

  • England Back Three-

    11.Ugo Monye

    15.Delon Armitage

    14.Tom Varndell

    Matt Banahan+Mark Cueto Subs

    Thoughts?

  • Cueto instead of varndell

  • mmmm i know varndell is still learning but cueto is abit average and varny just adds that bit of pace and flare

  • He was an inch away from scoring in the world cup final and is a former lion. Better in defence than Varndell and Varndell's lack of experience internationally would go against him. Give it a few years until Cueto starts fading and then i'd go with Varndell

  • Tom Catterick at 15 and Armitage at 14

  • Are you either him or related to him because that would be a HUGE call when there are many better, older, more experienced players to pick. And if you are him, prove me wrong by winning a world cup... please, really do

  • Belive me he's mint

  • Batterd :D

  • i hope the americans realise this is the england B team.

  • I think they do. But the England B team is professional, while American rugby is still largely, if not fully amateur.

  • i know the eagles suck but iam still a fan

  • The eagles will become a rugby force in years to come... the sport is growing inthe US

  • i have been playing for the last 3 years in high school and i love it!

    much better that american football

    it has been gowing here

  • Glad you enjoy the sport, i coach a tad and my son plays for our local colts (under 18) team... I understand that colleges and uni's play the game in the states, hopefully it will spread to schools like football (soccer) has.

  • yea it is great i love it. my state adds a new team every year soon it wil be a school sport like basketball and all of thoes.

soccer beleve it or not is actually pretty popular here if rugby was better known or shown on t.v. it would probubly be a top 4 or 5 most played sports here. maby even a national sport. it wil just take time to grow because kids will need to grow up around it. it will just take time

  • rugby union is better than league

  • League is worse than union

  • yer i know i play union

  • League is so not as good as union

  • union doesn't suck as much as league

  • rugbys the best sport in the world :) americans shud stick 2 their nfl

  • OMG... American Make Me Laugh England Just Battered Them ...

  • i bet you would NEVER go on a rugby pitch with a full team of the biggest fasted aggressive football players... 19/20 stone men of pure muscle running as fast as wingers in rugby... no pads either. All english guys would get fucked up... take this from someone who has played rugby(league) TOUGHER than union, and seen the size and power of those americans in person. dont talk queer

  • the only guys bigger than the rugby players are the damn linemen and they are all fat fucks. They have more fat than anything. And btw union is much better...american football is just a bastardized version of league with pads

  • hey just go on google, and type in vernon gholston.... you will know what i talk about, i have alot of american friends who play football, and alot more who play rugby, and even all the rugby players shit a brick when these guys came over with there size and muscle mass and said they are only average. Btw my mates are no less than 17 stone before you make a smart arse comment

  • I'm an american, i think i know more about shit football than you seeing as i played the game myself for 5 wasted years of my life. Trust me, you guys have it way better over in europe or wherever u live as far as sports go, the last thing you want is a bunch of steroid junkies showboating for a minute for getting a big hit or running the ball 20 yards. Over an entire football game there is about 10 minutes tops of actual physical contact or running, its not that fun. continued...

  • only reason people who play football can get so big (like vernon gholston) is that they focus more on strength/agility skills, or skills required for a specific position (i.e. lineman, quarterback, safety, linebacker, reciever, running back, etc.). Rugby is more diverse, you need stamina, be able to handle the ball well regardless of position, be able to kick a ball, and many others. Remember, in football when you're down, you dont need to worry about getting back up- you get a 45 second break.

  • i am not talking about stamina, ball handling aspect of the game... i am talking about the big hits, toughness etc... you played football for 5 years, i played rugby my whole life. Never once in my life have a i seen a huge tackle, either amateur or professional what compares with nfl hits. I would much rather play rugby for the reasons you say, but ALL i am saying is how your guys are alot more pwerful, aggressive, explosive in tackles, which is true, you can not argue that.

  • well yeah like i said before they can afford to deliver those huge hits because the game is less physically demanding stamina-wise. Like i said before football players can focus on getting bulkier/stronger at the cost of speed(sometimes) and stamina because they don't necessarily need it. The hits are harder i can agree on that, but its tougher? idk about that. Its tougher to me to play 80 minutes with a 5 minute break at half time w/ no pads than to play football with all the breaks put in.

  • i dont know, at least we can agree with the huge hits now... ermm i dont know well i cant really say about playing the 80 minutes with small break because i am used to it, but if you play with a good team, who can share the ball out well enough, there should be plenty of time to regain energy. As for egos, i totally agree, alot of NFL players like to think they are bigger than the actual game, which isnt good at all, alot of bad "cocky" attitudes, cant stand people like them.

  • There's also a sense of greater profesionalism from the rugby players/managers that i've seen compared to football, they take it as a job, not just a game. Look up terrell owens and chad johnson, people who are flamboyant and have the biggest egos on the planet. Haven't seen one profesional rugby player with an attitude like that, but maybe thats because we don't get any rugby on tv in the states lol.

  • indiandawg, rugby is almost a culture... its true, you don't get the same showboating and ego driven maniacs like you get in football... even the best in the world are humble. it certainly is more of a team sport than football.

  • how the hell is league tougher than union??? sure it can be quicker in pace but the stamina required in union is of a totally different level...the ruck element of the game is probably the most physical thing along with a driving maul etc... check your stats mate...evidence

    xx

  • well considering i come from a small town where both are top sports i can say i played the same amount of time on both, and played teams from other countries, i played against an italian team at RU, and rugby league played an australian team, and i can say rugby league people get fucked up a whole lot more a whole lot often, the ruck?? waste of time, driving maul, gay as fuck, just another excuse for you guys to get close enough to rub each others nuts, rugby league is tougher, nfl toughest.

  • Man! i am an america and now you can see why i dont like the usa eagls. i just wish they would show rugby on t.v in the usa.

  • i lied i love the eagles

  • one way traffic.

  • Sorry Skivington plays for: see below.

  • Look at this idiots, they are playing Football without their protection gear. How stupid, don't they know they could get crippled for rest of their lives??

  • its not the same as grid iron.

  • Their not idiots just men with some balls well done to USA for taking part and i hope they continue to improve it would be nice if rugby caught on over their

  • I was partly joking, but on the other hand, C'mon!, really! , besides the macho bravado or whatever you want to call it, why don't they use some kind of protection at least a helmet for the head. BTW I do like this sport.

  • because they cant hit as hard and agressive as american footballers, it is fact, When it comes to big hits, you guys hit 50x harder. If we could tackle as hard as you guys, the sport will be band, just watch most games, shoulder contacts are shit, with lots of grabbing and pulling down. then you will see why protection isnt needed as much as nfl.

  • Can't wait to see the day- when the USA unlock their unlimited talent- they could be the most dominant force in the world!- I wish they played more international sports better like Football and Rugby- instead of USA based sports like Basketball NFL and Baseball- but I respect your tastes they are fine sports in their own rights.

  • WHATS THE SONG CALLED?!?!

    any one know?

  • yano what id absolutly love 2 c, usa eagles agenst the all blacks :D thatd b a barrel of laughs eh lol

  • i didnt catch the name of that second row that scored the try, can anyone fill me in?

  • skivington i belive, not sure who he plays for

  • London Wasps

  • btw try of the RWC 07 went to Ngwenya who is american, who is also a professional.

  • hey blaxman, we dont disgrace rugby at all if u remember were still the reigning olympic champions, not saying we're doing awesome but for a country were theres a million sports played and rugby isnt as popular as most of em, we do a fucking good job at it. And Sharkky, your right we do play for the love of the game especially myself, I play in College, but Many Colleges do offer scholarships. You obviously havent checked up on Collegiate rugby.

  • Yeah, probably if rugby ever became really popular over there the USA would stop sucking at it and become a force to be reckoned with.

  • im a proud brit

but usa disgrace rugby they really do

    why call yourself USA EAGLES

    this aint the NFL

    its rugby mate

stik 2 ur pads n helmets

  • Dude give them credit for trying!! No one think there is anything wrong with calling RSA the Boks, NZ the All Blacks and the Ozzie the Wallabies so what's wrong with calling USA the eagle??

  • well sed m8, the same 4 footy lol

  • American Rugby is exclusively Amateur and their are very few youth programs. There are a decent amount of Men's clubs and almost every university has Rugby team(most notably University of California, Berkely also known as Cal). There is really no future in professional Rugby in the US, nor are there college scholarships available. Thus, we play only for love of the game. It's still cool to give international competition a go, even if we don't usually stand a chance.

  • true aye? i think if the US developed their rugby programs they'd realy dominate and stuff. i wish they'd get some of these running backs and linebackers from the nfl to play rugby that'd be a sight to see

  • what them stopping alot and playing full out for 10 mins of the 80mins

  • True, McCfiniganswaglalski & the NFL is enjoyable to watch (though I prefer rugby)

Britain does have a baseball team magiciscool676, though a large porportion of our players are Americans who qualify through British relatives.

  • Americans arent a big rugby team its really ammerican football her(NFL)

  • It feels good to be a brit!

  • Man USA got killed.... I'm not surprised though Rugby is not our sport. If you guys tried to play baseball or american football you would get ragged.

  • Soft...

  • debartolo has jet shoes

  • quality England all the way as usual

  • yeahhh

  • nice vid and well done to England, quality backs looking forward to see Lamb Foden and many more in the main team

  • nice vid and well done to England, quality backs looking forward to see Lamb Foden and many more in the main team

  • Everyone's switching over to Canterbury jerseys, even Portugal's doing it.

  • whats the deal with those?...lighter? more breathable or is it just the sharper newer jerseys in the sport?

  • I'm not sure. I imagine it has something to do with looks though.

  • UGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
