  • "Be wary of models with 18-inch wheels; they are easy to scuff and give a far harder ride than the 17-inch rims that came as standard."

    autoexpress

  • Heyy Guys can some tell me , if the GOLF GTI MK5 come with the DIESEL Engine?

    Thamls

  • @Maurodbest no, the mark 5 gti came with a petrol engine only, however there is now a GTD (which is diesel) to accompany the GTI mark 6

  • @Maurodbest no. All GTI's are petrol. You can get a GT TDI though that is a diesel. 2.0 170hp

  • this woman knows jack shit!!!

  • muy feo en 4 puertas

  • £20,000?!?

  • i love the way that dude shifts at 1:42

    he grabs it so.... uncomfortably

  • @MishaTelevision yeah its rather gros

  • why does she say its now turbocharged? the last GTi was also. The 1.8t...it has 20 more hp too, not 80.

  • she said "the 2.0 Liter is now turbocharged" which means the previous 2.0 Liter engine wasn't which is true

  • its aluminum not aluminium

  • No it is not. Learn English.

  • Yes it is. Learn English.

put it in spell check and remove ur soul from the situation as u find out that you've wasted many years of life, do u comprehend?

Noah Webster's Dictionary of 1828 has aluminum and not aluminium.

Humphrey spelled it alumium (1807) then changed to aluminum, finished with aluminium in 1812. after about 1895, "um" became more popular and by 1900, "um" was twice as common as "ium". By 1910, a few 100 used "ium" and 500 000 used "um".

    Welcome to the 21st century.

  • The Oxford English dictionary, which is the most reliable source of English spelling, spells the word Aluminium. Sorry but you are wrong.

  • Japs have the most reliable cars yet they still break down. Nobody cares if your ink is reliable or not. I advise you to realize that just because someone splashed ink onto pieces of paper, its not right. Realize how more than 1000 times more people use "um" no matter what your ink indicates. You have not given any correct proof of how "ium" is correct and therefore i assume that i win by default.

    My point stands.

  • The proof is in the dictionary. Learn English.

  • Ink splashed onto paper that can easily be incorrect is not proof. Proove that is correct. You still have no proof arguing your side. My point still stands.Learn English.

  • You cannot even spell prove correctly. Learn English.

  • Nobody cares. I do not revise my posts. Stop hiding your shame by directing attention to other areas. Learn English.

  • I care for you though. I do not want you to go down the wrong road with your grounding in the Queen's English. Please just apologise for spelling Aluminium wrong in the first place. Learn English.

  • You have still not proven me wrong. And you cannot prove my points wrong. I seem to win by default without even trying. You have been proven wrong. You typing without even bringing up proven points is a waste of life. Make this interesting by bringing up points that you can back up. My point stands.

  • honestly who the fuck argues on youtube posts?

  • Hi guys, my name's Pantstofry. I am an American, and quite frankly, I don't give a shit how you spell aluminum. I've seen it both ways, whether one is British or not, it doesn't matter. Now, please, for the sake of my sanity, both of you need to stop arguing useless bullshit on youtube. Thanks!

    Have a nice day

  • im pretty sure we clearly stopped arguing more than a year ago. i dont know why you want to bring this back up.

  • because im sick of idiots that argue about nonsense on youtube. I want to actually see comments that make sense. people who argue about dumb bullshit should get a temporary ban.

  • well i stopped arguing over a year ago, and have realized its stupid maybe just a year ago, so that temporary ban would be way over. a temporary ban would serve no purpose now.

  • You realize that the British English and American English spellings are different, right?

  • just picked up the gti with 18in huffs, crome mirros and in 6spd. after driving dsg and manual back to back dsg is def faster but the 6spd is so sweet very smooth and i chirp 4th gear np I LOVE IT. THANKS FOR THE ADVICE PATRIOT

  • dsg all the way

  • depends beacause DSG obviously quicker smoother but and if thats what your looking for then DSG is for you however gear stick is more involving making drives more intersting if you ask me because DSG will give you beter ride but at cost of boredom in the sense that theres little to do hope this helps

  • GTI rock's!

  • hello GTI friends...i have one...red,2door,18" rims...i love him

  • My next car...

  • Best car on the planet! Any more power/torque is a waste for city driving. Comfort/Style/Power/Speed/Handling/Brakes(after pad upgrade)/So many other little conveniences that aren't even mentioned. Excellent Car! My advice is to stay away from the dealer. Buy it and never return to the dealer, EVER! These cars are so reliable that dealers have to sabotage them to stay in business. =)

  • absolutely agreeable =)

  • COOL

  • coming next week - 3 door DSG steel grey - can't wait!

  • I hope you're enjoying your new GTI!

  • i love my gti gotone right when they came out five stars if your thinking about buying one do it!
