  • Hey Good Singers check me out on Facebook

    tim.gilberg

  • This deserves a sub. Thanks. :D

  • Thanks for the free lesson :) ... people should do this more often! :D

  • great!

  • thank youuu soo much!!!! i love your videosss :)))

  • awesome advice :]]

  • lol im like good at singing but i was wondering...what about feeling air on the "vocal gun" during F's and such?

  • i like willy

  • Could you tech us how to vibrate the voice doing it naturally

  • I think you explain things really well. Would you be able to do a lesson on opening the throat & exercises on how to KEEP IT OPEN when you start singing as this is what I find me and a lot of others find hard to do when starting out. Kind Regards.

  • Oh thanks dude, i suck donkey balls in the light vocals, but in the screaming parts i dont have problems!

    THANKS AGAIN!

  • Mines the oppisite i push a lot of air out when i sing low and not much when i sing high. is that ok?

  • This was helpful, even though I needed a bit more improvement of hitting those high notes. It's difficult but I'm getting there :]

  • You're awsome! thx

  • could u number the lessons please

  • he did

  • That's helped me! I need lots of help!

  • Also, The Vocal Gun not only helps you to control the air releasing and the tension while you're singing, but you look COOL!

I think I'll make it my signature gesture when I'll hit the big stage.

  • how do you sing and not sound nasal-e?

  • how do you sing and not sound nasal-e?

  • Practice with your nose plugged, the sound coming out of you should not change when you plug your nose, if it does... you know you're doing something wrong

  • Woah, thanks. That really did improve my voice :D

  • Okay you are so amazing for sharing your knowledge with us... I just hit my first whistle like note effortlessly with your "put your finger in front of your nose and mouth and only feel the warm air" tip... let's just hope I can continue doing this! Thanks for helping me understand how my instrument works :)

  • Great video, thanks for the easy to understand help

  • these lessons are really helpful ... I used to mess up my throat when I sang, but this is really helping me express myself as an artist. Thank you

  • This is very helpful

  • Very good tips. My only little complaint is on higher notes it's more pressure less air. He's right the pressure is not on the larynx but in the diaphragm, back, abs and butt muscles.

  • so your saying if im a not so good singer and by not so good im mean i dont sound good wen im singing you can make me sing better so i sound better

  • you fine...lmao!!

    no but really thanks

  • thanks, the gun thing really works

  • Very Useful Tips! Thank You !!

  • This dude looks like Kevin Bacon!

  • yeah a bit and he looks a bit like steve erwin (crocodile man)

  • he looks just like him!!

  • your amazing thank you so much

  • pew pew vocal gun :) i love it

  • Does anyone else have problems as to WHERE you can excersize and sing? Because I live in an apartment and I'm so afraid of annoying my neighbours...And it's not fun to sing when you have to feel embarrased and guilty the whole time nad worried about how good it sounds. I've just started to sing so it won't sound perfect, but I can't get better if I don't practice!

  • Just play some loud music and sing along!

  • one main thing in common. Practice, practice, practice.... and practice some more.

    Good Luck!

  • In your car when you're driving :-) That's a place.

  • Can you go out in the middle of the countryside and sing? Or maybe you could sing in the shower. I sing in the shower and in places where there are no people.

  • just go for it. never be arfraid to sing no matter where you are

  • In your car or in the shower... fuck your neighbors, they're not you.... they wont be annoyed if you make it to idol...

  • try just going for a drive ;) u're by urself, and no one's gonna hear ya. The only "bad" thing is that people might C u singing....but really, that ain't so bad!

  • the vocal gun is a gret tip. thanks!!!

  • Awesome!!! Thank you!!

  • Great lesson man!!!

    please kep them comming!

  • thank you!!! helpfull

  • "Vocal Gun" rocks, I've been using it on your other exercises too.

Hey thank for your generous spirit. So many teachers make you spend a lot of time and money with them before they give up the good stuff but the great teachers like you truly love your topic and can't imagine not wanting to help others enjoy it too. Many can do well, few can teach well.

  • your pretty awesome,

    thanks dude.

  • thank you!!! :)

  • thanks, i agree with what you say. i just got the grip of sort of what your talking about in my last voice lesson and i was able to sing for the first time a clear A when only the day before the top of my range was barley a G.

i definitely recommend what your saying unlike other people ive seen on youtube

  • Random question but like how old are you? 20-ish?

  • Wow

but I have been told by x girlfirends maturity wise

    18 years old

  • awesome tips!

  • Very good stuff.I wish they had youtube back when I was learning.I going to improve and redo my videos.

  • thanks so much! big help!!(:

  • great

  • wow!!! your soo freakin awesome!!!thank you so so so so much!!! im your #1 fan XD

  • my voice is very weak and freaky, can anyone kindly give me some advise?

  • Same here. Mine is too quiet!:(

  • u probz need to use your diaphragm more.

  • Sing everyday... and it will get better... i had the same problem:P

  • I see a lot of people in american idol saying they sang everyday in choir. Singing by itself probably won't help you get better, that's why there's voice exercizes.

  • i got the warmth thingy but the problem with me is that when i try to hit the high not my voice gets all like dry ya know.... do u think its because im trying to hard or something??? Please msg me back.... thnx

  • i dont mean to sound like a bigot or anything, but are these exercises actually worth doin?and how much do they improve your singing?basically what i wanna know is, if your born a bad singer, are you always gonna be a bad singer?

    no haters please, thanks! =]

  • Anybody can learn to sing and to make the best of their voice to flow through notes and to hold them with enough practice anybody can be a ''good'' singer once they understand it but they sound of your voice as you do so is oviouslly unique and natural to you so few can be ''great'' if this makes sence?

  • Yes, my wife could not sing to save her life and she bought a course and in 4 months from doing stuff like this can sing now, its amazing.

  • anyone can learn to hit notes with their voice, as long as theyre not completely tone deaf. but hitting notes and having a 'good' voice are two different things. you are either born with a good voice or not, but with training you can learn to hit notes. which is basically what untrained people associate with a good voice.

  • Perfectly summed up!

  • The best vocal lesson on net :)Thank you

  • this might just be one of the best vocal training videos on here

  • thank you so much any vocal tips always help me

  • i feel like a better singer

  • I have to say I find the way you communicate this stuff the easiest to understand in my Youtube surfing. Thanks !

  • thnxx

  • how do you stop that muscle from tightening?

  • wow this is great thanks!!!

  • Very helpful man, thanks.

  • rockn roll haha..

  • THANKS!!! i'm getting alot better thanks to your vids! keep puting more videos up!

  • Your lessons are just the best... Thanks!

  • so i know nothing about singing and i have the suden need to want to sing. will i be able to get pretty good if i keep doing these?

  • 3 Questions...could you damage your voice not warmin up...first??? becuz i sing Pow-wow and it involves alot of power and hight and sudden bass/lows...most of the time i just belt it out right away...2nd, Is it possible to stay good for a really long period of time???cuz i usualy slice out in about 3 songs...3rd i do most of these tips and some how i still need to take a breath even when i have air left....does it have to do with holdin breath or something?????

  • That was helpful. Greetings from South Ameica (Trujillo,Peru)

  • whoa... i didn't know tom hamilton was such a good singer. lol steven outta let him take the lead more often. haha

  • Wow thank you so much, I have always wanted a reference point in terms of singing theory and this definitely helps! I have a good ear but i need to make my voice stronger and i could never afford real lessons, but you have given me something to work with!

  • omg ur great

  • Your video was extremely helpful. I used to be in choir before I entered high school, but when I moved on up, I switched to orchestra. Hence the fact that my voice now resonates as well as dying cats. So thanks so much. I'll be looking at your other lessons as well.

  • do vocal lessons actually make someone better?

    anyone experienced this?

  • they do make u better becuse ur vocals are not used to sining unless u sing 24/7 and the lessons give ur vocals exeorsise and make ur voice sound good.

  • cooool

  • Cool really gud :D :D :D :D

    xxxxx

  • so how can i relax that part under my chin when hitting the higher notes?

  • so how can i relax that part under my chin when hitting the higher notes?

  • thank u!!! finally someone who explained it in a way that i kinda understand

  • Thank you sir I like your sincerity. I'm a huge offender of tightening up on high notes - I've just used my falsetto to handle the higher stuff. Unless you like doo-wop that technique of mine isn't pretty :D

  • One question ? ummmmm .... What if..... your voice like ppl would say (sucks) and u are scared of singing and u feel like u dont even know how to use ur voice , can u learn how to sing i mean like decent singing ?

  • thanks !!

  • The Vocal gun is the shit.

  • Two words, Kevin Bacon..

  • I'm a decent guitarist and I can hear pitches... but I recorded myself singing the other day and it REALLY SUCKED... your lesson will hopefully help... I'm so ashamed I ever song in front of anybody ever...

  • I was a better-than-average singer, but I needed some improvement. These excersizes REALLY helped! Thank you!
