thx for posting this. I've been thinking about this game for years and been trying to find what it's called. I finally found it! Now I just need to buy it somewhere. Why don't they make board games like this anymore? Or like Forbidden Bridge? I think there is still a huge market for great board games. Board games are sometimes a lot more fun than video games.
God, this was my favorite toy when I was a kid. I used the board as a playset for my G I Joes and such to fight on and I never got tired of letting Rex wipe out everyone. XD Too bad the plastic was so flimsy. The top half of my board eventually broke when it was in a storage tub and someone piled stuff on top of it (Then the bottom half got painted brown and used in a school project XD).
Yeah, I had almost forgot about this game until I saw his review of, what was it? Fireball Mountain or something? Anyway, I saw it and I was like OMG THAT'S JUST LIKE TORNADO REX! The rules are a bit different, but same principle.
I remember we would play this during lunch in 2nd grade and once in a while Tornado Rex would hit a piece so perfectly, it flew across the entire room. That was SO awesome. wtf happened to this game.
They just don't make games like this anymore -_-. I had my share pf games such as Shark Attack, Yahoo Buckaroo, It From the Pit, Forbidden Bridge, Snardvark, that's all I remember for now.
Have taken great care with this game so all my children can play it, but the top finally cracked (at the top). Anyone have any parts or all of this game they'd like to sell?
Thanks for the thought. Ours is good except the cracked top. The mountain has a good bit of duct tape on the underside, but its holding together. ;-) Maybe someone will have a top. Cheers.
This game was the greatest. . so many variables. Even when you thought you were safe, you could still lose, and sometimes when you thought you didn't have a prayer, he'd miss you.
