sorry, but there is NO reason for this to be 10 minutes long, i love the song, your dubsteps are amazing, but this is MAYBE four minutes long, i know u were tryin to get ur sound out there, but 10 minutes?

@guitartw95 Actually there kind of is a reason for it to be long. There are so many different riffs and sections in the original that I wanted to include, but you cant just go from one to another. There's got to be breakdowns and builds from one to another. It's not like I just repeated one melody for 10 minutes. Each section is important and needs highlighting, from the one minute breakdown at 5:19, to the solo at 8:55.

I listen to songs that are at least 10 minutes on average or more hell swallow the sun made a 30 minute song. Length should not be a factor when you are writing music and any true musician like myself will tell you that.

the reason why these remixes work so well with abr is because they're so melodic they almost aren't metal. they're like jazz fusion with heavy vocals

@Feltrider001 Alot of metalcore bands get their inspiration from modern melodic death metal. While it's true that The Black Dahlia Murder subscribe to that genre I was more thinking of bands in line with In Flames, Soilwork, Disarmonia Mundi et.c.

When it comes to the music writing the melodies are massively inspired by modern melodeath. What hardcore brings to the scene is breakdowns and the shoutlike vocals instead of traditional low deathgrowls.
