What string gauge do you recommend for this guitar? I heard it comes factory w. 009's. Would this guitar neck hold a 12 gauge set?

@JZGuitarman  Mine didn't come with 9s! Ha - it came with 11s, with a wound 3rd. I use 12s and have had 13s on it, and it loves 'em. Has a nice strong "jazz" neck. Not beefy, but not skinny either. Great guitar for the money. Big low-end sound possible, great mids, screaming highs.

I have this guitar but i got the limited edition pearl vine one from 2010 i get so many complements on how it looks and sounds and people really says it looks so expensive, it's a really good jazz box for the price, got mine for $499.

Out of all the guitars I've ever owned, my Ibanez guitar took the least amount of setup. Just lower the strings a bit and that was it.

Nice to see that Ibanez has come up with a totally original design ,saying that the build quality will be superb.I used to have an Ibanez AR in the early eighties it was superb that one looks and sounds superb aswell

This is so much better than the metal videos. We need more of THIS. This is just fantastic playing. Hopefully I'll be able to play like this one day. In fact, I know I will. For now, I'll just admire and dream. But seriously, the super heavy metal players that chug away are annoying. That's just my opinion. And don't forget the tone. Horrible tone.

@WeslieJJ94 I just did a demo on this exact guitar yesterday. The neck isn't big at all I found. Much smaller than a Les Paul, just kinda feels like a standard acoustic neck.
