Only solution is to make your own config.

Well....Yeh....I had that green problem but turns out you cant change it.

And yeah there are 2 colors: Red and Blue

To me its ok cuz you its actually helpful if your brightness is dark or if you cant see long range.

And vo0 here has green bots.

Btw only the enemy team is green if you are red you can see your team models and so on

To search Manually for servers you can go to google and search gametracker.

Click first link and search whatever server you want no need to download :)

@blackvapour - I've played Q3 since the Q3test days. I've run servers (and still do) since 2000. I've played against pros that are much more skilled than what this video illustrates. This player isn't bad at all (as I stated previously) but he's not as awe-inspiring as the common observer may think. And yes - exploitation. Fast weapon-switching makes the game easier for a skilled player and more difficult for a poor one - which is why it exists. I've never played COD and don't care to.

If you don't know who Vo0 is, or what CPMA is, you are clearly ignorant about quake, hence your stupid opinions. Faster weapon switching only increases the skill cap so yes there is a greater cap between good and bad players, but all the opponents in this video are very good players, I've played against one of them myself. They are just being outplayed by one of the greatest quake players.

@h4rakiri Wouldn't be too sure of it; as you get better, your shots become more a reflex/instinct than a calculated shot by looking at your crosshair. I tried instagib and such without a crosshair, really helped me with my twitch/reflex shots. Wouldn't be surprised if they played without a crosshair :)

@H4mm0ndk Q3 demo ain't enough, get a full version - prices start from about a fiver. After installing check the game version (f.e. by opening an in-game console) and if it is lower than 1.32 then download and install patch 1.32. Then search for cpma or promode and download this mod (last one i had was 1.44 but theres prolly never version available). On the promode site there should be link to a cpma mappack. Some maps in the clip aren't in the pack - like f.e. quake 1 conversions.

@TheClamproductions It is Quake ]|[ Arena, and it's all normal graphics. But it is not a 'standard' config. One of q3's engine beauties was the console and many commands and variables (cvars) you could use/change to customise your config in many different aspects. What you see here is a mod called CPMA (Challenge ProMode Arena) or earlier known simply as ProMode one of the biggest and oldest mods, inspired by QuakeWorld. One of the most important and fun bringing changes is in movement physics.
