@darkMDR The Space one was easy as fuck. Of course, the first time I beat Wizpig I did it without the boost trick, where you press b or some shit just as you hit the speed boost thing and it gives you an extra oomph to the boost. I had no idea about it when I first played, so, as you can imagine..It took forever to fucking beat this asshole. I basically relied on him keeping me in the race by getting infront and making him push me with one of his feet. xD

Funny how with Rare some of their best characters came from a racing game, when its usually just the opposite, already great characters usually end up in a racing game.

I read somewhere once that this was a marketing strategy. Rare planned to release many games on the N64. So to drive up future sales, they made Diddy Kong Racing with completely original characters so that when future games came out, buyers would recognize the characters and want to buy them.

Well, it worked, I guess. When I saw Conker's Bad Fur Day and Banjo-Kazooie, I bought both of them. I still love Banjo to this day, I've got Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts on 360 and he's my fav character on Sonic And Sega All-Stars Racing.

It took me ages to beat Wizpig... until I found out that you get a way better speed boost if you interrupt holding the A-Button when you drive over a speed-booster... he was kinda easy then :P (the one in the mouth, not in space... he was kinda hard, though)
