With them being born beautiful, it doesn't shock me that men would take interest. Same goes for lesbians. A lot of them are pretty, but a lot are also very 'manly' and strong, so if a girl likes the female body but wants a man's personality, then problem solved.

I think that being gay is a little of both nurture and nature. I don't discredit the idea of there being a 'gay gene', and if there is I would accredit its newfound strength to overpopulation. If we can get a couple who are in love (and unfortunately can't have children), then that not only curbs our mass-production of children, but also helps to take care of the ones without parents.

I also find being gay to be somewhat conditioned. More effeminate men, to me, look and sound like women.

I too think "sexuality" is the product of both nature and nurture. I myself have lived with both my parents for 12 years and i wasnt really busy with my sexuality at that time. Then my parents split up and my dad came out of the closet.

There's plenty of evidence that there's a nature component revealed by the presence of genetic markers on the Q28 region of the X chromosome (XQ28). But having the marker doesn't mean you'll be gay, it just means the likleyhood is greater, and it's always the possibile that you'd be gay even if you don't have the marker. The circumstances in which you were raised (nurture) it likley to determine if the marker actually "kicks in."
