  • British? I have noticed many instructors posting on here are British, would make one think twice before taking on the island, LOL. Many respects to the instructor, will favorite and am sure to learn quite a bit, thanks very much for posting :).

  • Thank you very much for the video, you're a real life savor. Literally.

  • @SagaraSouske Thank you for your very kind and positive comment.

  • Even people who don't like or believe in "wrist locking" should consider the techniques shown here to defend someone grabbing your wrists when in a boxing stance. This guy looks decent wouldn't mind training with him

  • I know that this is not a common attack, but of all the stuff I have learned in my 8 years and 4 styles of training in martial arts, the escape from a wrist grab is the only thing I have ever had to use in real life. Basically some dude who had been acting aggressively (verbally) towards me and my mates grabbed my wrist and said to me "come over here" - 'here' meaning the place where his mates were wating to back him up. I used this kind of stuff and his attitude soon changed! Excellent vid.

  • what type of martial art is this guy?

  • @Emelai These particular releases are fundamentally from Hapkido — or my interpretation of them at least. But I am sure that they can be found in other arts too.

  • @pugilistica he trains in krav maga, i know because i learn with that federation

  • my bad diff logo

  • @Emelai

Krav Maga ( most effective martial art in the world ) and one of the most deadliest hand to hand combat systems in the world.

  • @Zeberde3 Not true I'm afraid. I have never practised Krav Maga!

  • I never believed in wrist lock releases, but the way you utilise them put them in a different perspective. thanks for the enlightenment

  • Good Stuff!

  • Thankyou for the demo..... simple and useful.

  • do you have any counter techniques for women for grabbing attacks ( bear hugs-any, 2 hand grabs, front-back chokes, head locks, 2 hand grab on 1 arm etc etc.. please please show me. thanks!

  • Yes I do. I'll try to film them and put them up here for you as soon as I have the time.

  • thanks this is good for people that i know that walks late in the night. i am worry for their safety. i dont want them to get hurt etc...
