I love decorating!! really into interior design my husband doesnt play a role watever i like he likes! im the one who does the decorating cleaning and organizing! you really dont need to buy extra things to organize i use watever i have and usually i will buy things that are more sophiscated and classy from discount stores! Im OCD about my house being clean and organized.

I noticed that you're wearing the same nail polish as in the Husband tag video (or so I presume:}). I ran through the comments there and here and I didn't found the name of it... What is it??? I always (always always always) wear black on my nails (and toes - LOVE black on toenails!), but recently I've been having this unexplainable wish to buy a pink nail polish, but I can't seem to find the perfect color (since I am very picky about the pinks...). I like your simplicity in design but you need some COLOR on the walls! It totally screams rental apartment which is fine if it is a rental and short term. And if it is...don't "invest" in anything until you own your home.

My hubby is plain too if he had it his way the house would all be beige. I add pops of color with the neurals. Our kitchen has eggplant and lime green pops. Throw pillows really add color and can be changed regularly.

@reilly9331 My man and I went through that, and it was highly frustrating for a bit.  My suggestion is to ask what he likes or dislikes about both his things and yours in a casual but objective way, so you can get to know what he actually needs and values in his living space. This will also help you identify what similar taste you share, which you may have overlooked in the past when more obvious differences were jumping out at you. Good luck!!

I personally don't believe you need an organized house to start decorating because my house wasn't for the longest time but as long as you have skill in cleaning, decorating and organizing it shouldn't be a problem. Most of our furniture is from the thrift store and we get accessories, pillows, etc. from places like TJMaxx in the clearance section. Along with creativity, imagination and smart buying you can really make your house look great :)
