  • Hey mate, great demo... i think your "clean" sounds are pretty clean, but I've read a little about some dirt even in the clean setting... have you ever heard with at some setup?

  • Would you say the Holy Stain is good for shoegazer style stuff?

  • can you combine the effects?

    such as reverb + tremolo?

    or reverb + pitch shift?

because i want to use this for surf sounds but if i can't combine tremolo and reverb it is pointless :(

  • Analog or digital?

  • Can the fuzz/drive effects be eliminated completely? Thanks

  • very nice playing!

  • I plan on buying one of these tomorrow. Thank you.

  • Suena genial amigo... Chido el video.

  • you have a malekko hi-5 g

  • i can get that with my holy grail memory boy and boss ce5, but at twice the price!!! DOH!

  • beautifoull

  • what are you using to power it? i just got one but it didnt come with a power supply, what should i use?

  • you could try the visual sound one-spot. i use it with my ehx big muff... look for it on ebay, and buy the one-spot ehx connector plug to go along.

  • look in the instructions. or simply right on the pedal it probably says what to use. underpowering/overpowering a pedal can really mess it up.

  • @MatthewJohn19

any 9v power supply just make sure the polarity isnt reversed.

  • Thanks for this video. What you are playing is what I really wanted sampled, and the "pros" barely covered the reverb. Thanks homie :)

  • this has got a jack for expression pedals right? which effects can you modify with it?

  • @inotissallov

yes it does its the input jack above the main in on the right.

  • awesome tone

  • true bypass??

  • @gevabar

    all ehx pedals are truebypass.

  • @maxbouvrie no they are not... that about put me at my breaking point of misinformation on the internet.

luckily for you. i decided to go ahead and tell you the truth--- that you are wrong. because, for a while there, i was contemplating letting you go on spouting off misinformation on the internet, just so i could feel comfortable being superior to every stranger you might spout off wrong info to. tard.

  • can you completley bypass the distortion and just use the effects?

  • That's what it looks like. From what I have seen, you can set the distortion side to 'clean' so it looks like you can bypass it. You may want to double check it though :)

  • Can you use the tremolo and Fuzz and Reverb without the distortion and run the distortion trough your amp?

  • yeah dude, it's split into 2 circuits so you can keep one on and one off or mix the two.

  • i wonder how this sounds on bass

  • With a expression pedal, we can control the tremolo speed??

  • I have this pedal. Its a nice pedal, but the Holygrail has a better reverb sound, and my main complaint about the holy stain is there is no control to adjust the amount of fuzz/distortion.

  • I have the pedal as well and used it primarily for the reverb and tremelo. Last night after rehearsal I played around with the overdrive setting and I am now sold on it. Its true that you don't have a distortion level on the pedal, but it can be controlled very well via your guitar volume. I plan on leaving it on overdrive and then toning down the volume for my clean stuff and then swelling in the overdrive for the dirty stuff.

  • i have the holy grail and i find it pretty useless. the only times it sounds unique is when its put to higher reverb settings, and even then, the cound collapses on each other dont ya think??? ive got a cube 60 n the reverb in that is better..

  • Cool board from what I can see. Got delay?

  • he has the stereo memory man which is a pretty amazing pedal too...

  • I meant that sarcastically like "Got Milk?", he's got three delays. :D

  • Ya i would like to hear the fuzz and maybe a little 'drive'

  • Great tone -- I'm not a big fan of this pedal, but your tone here is great.

  • Great rig.

Are those all your pedals, or do you have more not in the shot?

  • i don't even have any of those pedals anymore. my pedalboard never stops changing. i have the holy stain still ... but it's not on my board. i sold the reissue DMM and got a vintage one.

  • Please post a video showing the fuzz :D I've looked everywhere and I can't find a demo of the dirty sounds.

  • i covet your pedal board.

  • great sound. what guitar are you using?

  • fender john mayer strat through a 64 gibson falcon.

  • thanks, nice tone.

  • Wow a 64' Gibson amp! Dont see that everyday, nice man

  • Nice. A demo of the fuzz/OD settings would be cool as well ! :o)

  • Fantastic demo! Much agreed with RelicJunky, very mixed reviews on this pedal and this one convinced me. Love that Malekko E600 also.

  • Great demo! So many mixed reviews on this pedal, your demo has helped me alot!

  • that reverb sounds gorgeous, great pedal for the price
