I just found out that the Faroe Islands are also slaughtering them. I am not proud to be from Denmark right now, but at least I'm not from the Faroe Islands. Does anybody see the absurdity of a rich hollywood starlet obstructing the livelihood of poor japanese fishermen who are just struggling to get by so she can feel better about herself?

if she cares about whales that much, she can just offer those fishermen a large sum of money to leave those whales alone whenever she's in japan.

all i'm saying is that if some rich actress wants to protect whales, there are better ways to go about doing that than to do what she's been doing, which is mostly just hurting the little guys who get caught in the middle of rich activists and big companies.
