got a stock 02 trying to get in the low 9's any pointers. what are rpm are you leaving at?

Bolt-on extensions, lowering links, front forks strapped down...

Max torq is at 8,600rpm so launch at 6-8 thousand rpm...

I have all the upgrades you mentioned plus i went up on rear sproket and down on front and air shifter. I'll try launching at a higher rpm and work on leaving better and getting a better 60ft. Also what rpm do you have your shifter set to? Thanks for responding and the videos are awsome

The new bikes are alright.I just hate how they have the restrictions on them.Any bike made back in 2000 and down would own it.

ninja636 ALL the bikes that need to limited are limited throught the ECMs and there is always a way to de-restrict them (TRE or MSD SB6)...

barcode...I put turbo in the Tag but this bike has no turbo and had bone-stock motor when this vid was taken...

It has run 8.60s at 165+mph with some spray...

you should be running 8.9s or 8.8s with a turbo zx12r

i will, that knew 14 08 model ran 187, it broke that agreement by 1mph, im gonna go get on b4 the goverment finds out n makes kawasaki rerestrict em again or sumthing. idk if they will but still. i found a good deal on a 2000 zx-12r i mite check it out as it outran the 1999 hayabusa as i remember it anyways

If you want to go LOW 9s in the 1/4-mile I'd go big...

ZX12 ZX14 or Busa...

This is a friends bike...

I would go with the ZX14 personally

If you dont want restrictions on the bike,just get the bike that was made in 2000 or below.The new bikes wont go 200 plus mph unless you take the restrictions off.
