Ok you have installed OR some crappy program have is fucking this up, I know you fixed it but incase you wan't to know what caused the problem.

The only way to fix this is if you put your HDD as an secondary HDD in another computer (Unless your lucky and gets to boot into Safe-Mode) and delete the problem causing it, usualy located in a sub folder in the TEMP folder or similar, I've just fixed this problem for a friend, but the best thing to do is reinstall Windows and get a clean install.

if the laptop turn's off ... it's your dc jack to change ... and the battery (ebay for battery)

if not ... if you install windows and the format pass... your hdd might be ok but make sure to scan with a test program that is on the manifacture of the hard drive.

exemple western digital, go on the western digital side and find the prog to check is your hard drive is faulty make sure to have the good mark and model!

you can also check you memory with mem86 (you need to burn it on a cd)

This is a driver problem. Please run windows repair using OEM disk. This is probably b/c of an installation that failed or HD is failing causing file corruption.

what happend was in bios the reboot computer on windows and power related errors setting was on and when the power shut off that was a power faliure and windows then gltched but if that setting was off it would not keep rebooting so that was you problem and if not which it may have been then thats whyit could have also been caused by a corrupt version of windows on there

Download ultimate boot cd and burn to cd and remember to change your bootup menu to cd rom and use the hardware tools selection SE NUke to wipre your hard drive and install xp your files will be lost then use power data recovery software to get your files back mate.

Ok first off thinks for emailing me. If you are after your files and windows dos not boot right way you may need to buy a ide to a usb cable adapter open your pc and look at your hard drive find out what tape it is and get the right cable. so you can get your files back . It only cost me £948 and if i tuck it to pc world. It wood have cost £55 pounds to get data back you will need to use it on a working pc for this stage. clean the pc out format it using windows xp disk good luck.

Try the Windows Recovery Console to get to it. Put in your xp cd in that come with your pc when it boots up press r to enter Recovery Console and all well being this should fix the boots files and you should be in xp in no time hope this works for you this only fix the boot files and not reformat the drive.

firstly go into system setup yhen check if hdisk is running in native sata mode ? if it is then disable it then save changes & exit, reboot. xp dosen't recognise sata drives also check that the hdd isn't faulty,  do an internal hdd check, most laptops have hdd diagnostic built in.

what do you mean u cant get anyware.. simpley  boot the computer up put the windows disc in then shut the computer down now power it back up again and it should try to boot from the cd first not the hard drive if it dosent u need to go into the bios and set it to boot from cdrom first
