@dookiecheez Yeah I deleted it I think. It's less about censorship and more about time management. I used to waste a lot of time refuting people, but then I realized if they really wanted to hear what I was saying they could just look it up on their own. So a lot of times when someone posts a comment like that, spreading lies about Islam, while I'd like to be able to respond fully, if I don't feel like wasting my time, I might delete it so others aren't mislead by it. It's nothing personal. :-)
Look, why would someone need to make up lies about Islam? Aside from the inherent failure of faith, there's plenty of completely accurate and honest things in the Quran and Islam itself that show it's just another immoral failure of society dishonestly posing as morality. If you want to omit parts of Islam and the Quran from your beliefs I can respect that and I'd be interested to hear what those parts are--and even yet it'd still a detriment to humanity.
@dookiecheez Well, everything in the Qur'an is the literal verbatim word of God, so if you have a problem with anything in the Qur'an, you can take it up with Him, but I would personally advise against challenging God.
Just so you know, you can't be Muslim unless you accept all of the Qur'an, so of course I accept all of it. Hopefully that saves you the effort of showing me verses that you don't like to ask me if I agree with them. Let this be my "Yes to all" button. :-)

As for how to challenge God, I mean I wouldn't really need to be involved, that's kind of between you and Him, but if you would like a suggestion, I recommend you take up the challenge He offered in the Qur'an. Are you familiar with it? In the Qur'an, God challenges anyone who doubts that the Qur'an is the word of God to write even one chapter equal to it. So yeah, go for it man. Let me know how that goes. @dookiecheez Maybe, but also you might not aware of the difficulty of it. Do a YouTube search for "Divine Speech Prologue" and check that out. It might give you an idea of what you're dealing with. There have actually been people who did not believe in the Qur'an and took up the challenge, and because of it realized that the Qur'an is the word of God and they became Muslims. But check it out for yourself insha'Allah :-)
I'm fairly certain that the challenge is to out do the quran based on the presupposition that the quran is a perfect example and all specifications to 'challenge' it are based on how it is perfect. Therefore all deviations would make any attempt at challenging it inferior merely by setting a dishonest standard of rules. This only proves dishonesty, not the divine claim over the quran.

@Omnicron777 Our religion is dependent on Allah alone. If it really was dependent on Prophet Muhammad s.a.w, it would have died along with the prophet thousand years back. Instead it only grew stronger and bigger. It reached beyond Mecca, beyond the deserts of Arabia, beyond the 7th century, and now we're talking about it on cyberspace. Islam had millions of detractors beside yourself, some of the worst ones joining the faith, it continues to grow and blossom. Therefore, I'm not worried.

They attacked my country on 9/11. They attacked Muslim Americans just as much as they attacked non-Muslim Americans, but we had it worse because then our own fellow Americans turned on us after we had been attacked. Just like with all other prophets, God communicated with Muhammad (saws) predominantly through the angel Gabriel. He is the angel that comes to the prophets. However, God did speak directly to Muhammad (saws) during the Isra and Miraj, which was when God taught Muhammad (saws) how to perform the Salah (daily prayers).

Give me your opinions on the idea that the Vatican/Catholics created the Qu'Ran to divide the people in the middle east? I think it's crazy but interesting read. The problem I have with this video is that your saying that as a follower your job is to correct/convert people, that's not what it's about and saying, it's about peace and to live your life for Allah. @LafayetteAzevedo If no ones speaks up then the only voices will be the voices of hate. I feel that I have a very serious responsibility to correct the image of Islam in my community. One day insha'Allah I will be raising children here and I want them to be able to grow up in a world where people are not hostile towards Muslims.

@dawahaddict A prophet receives messeges and delivers them, Jesus already knew the messege, didnt need to be told, he is God himself, inside him , he already had all the knowledge and all he had to do is spread it about. I used to think that way until I found out that there actually is proof for Islam, and you actually can know that it is the truth. Well I dont believe you experience this reality from Gods perspective, you as a man must interpret what evidence God has chosen to let you see. From that you draw conclusions on what path to follow. I think this popular idea that everyone is right and no one is wrong no matter what twisted beliefs they hold is entirely insincere and comes from the erroneous belief that there can be no proof for religion. If there is no proof, then we can't be held accountable, right? Well, in Islam, we actually have the evidence to back up our belief. God always gave his prophets signs. The sign of our time is the Qur'an.
I believe religious institutions do not serve mans best interest spiritually. Many great men have lived before and they tried to teach us a good path but institutions distort their wisdom and degrade to a sandbox-arguing who is right and wrong when the case might be that everyone is right, just different perspectives. I believe you will find God inside, not outside - God is God no matter what name you choose.
You are correct to a point. Often throughout history the teachings of God's prophets have been distorted and developed into man-made institutions. However, I am talking about an instance in which the message of God's prophet was no distorted, and established a God-made institution. That's what Islam is. Two conflicting beliefs cannot both be true, so can we really say that everyone is right? There is one reality. You can call God any fitting name, but Jesus (as), for example, is a man, not God.
The song was good but the way you spoke before it affected my heart more, the glimpse in your eyes tell me you are a strong believer. I agree that many people do not show moslems respect because of their faith - respect should be given equally among your brothers no matter what path they choose to follow. I am not a moslem myself but I believe every single man on earth will find his own way home to God. Peace and love

Jesus (as) is the servant and messenger of God, not His son, may God forgive me. Don't you realize how horrible such a statement is? How can you insult God by saying He has a son? This life is temporary, and we will all be returned to God, and on that day we will have to answer for our actions in this life. Jesus (as) said God is ONE, not three-in-one. There is no greater sin than associating partners with God Almighty.

Sura 3:185, This Suras from Quran very clearly says that after death everyone will go to hell fire then judgment.. When a person went to hell fire then how and why it is possible that he/she can come out from hell fire and go to paradise.. no way.. This verse does not say anything about eternal life.his verse very clearly says that every believer in Allah is tasting death means they did not get the life while Jesus promised eternal life and heaven as we read in John 10:10 "

I used to waste a lot of time refuting people, but then I realized if they really wanted to hear what I was saying they could just look it up on their own. So a lot of times when someone posts a comment like that, spreading lies about Islam, while I'd like to be able to respond fully, if I don't feel like wasting my time, I might delete it so others aren't mislead by it. It's nothing personal. :-)

Aside from the inherent failure of faith, there's plenty of completely accurate and honest things in the Quran and Islam itself that show it's just another immoral failure of society dishonestly posing as morality. If you want to omit parts of Islam and the Quran from your beliefs I can respect that and I'd be interested to hear what those parts are--and even yet it'd still a detriment to humanity.

@dookiecheez Well, everything in the Qur'an is the literal verbatim word of God, so if you have a problem with anything in the Qur'an, you can take it up with Him, but I would personally advise against challenging God.
Just so you know, you can't be Muslim unless you accept all of the Qur'an, so of course I accept all of it. Hopefully that saves you the effort of showing me verses that you don't like to ask me if I agree with them. Let this be my "Yes to all" button. :-)

As for how to challenge God, I mean I wouldn't really need to be involved, that's kind of between you and Him, but if you would like a suggestion, I recommend you take up the challenge He offered in the Qur'an. Are you familiar with it? In the Qur'an, God challenges anyone who doubts that the Qur'an is the word of God to write even one chapter equal to it. So yeah, go for it man. Let me know how that goes. @dookiecheez Maybe, but also you might not aware of the difficulty of it. Do a YouTube search for "Divine Speech Prologue" and check that out. It might give you an idea of what you're dealing with. There have actually been people who did not believe in the Qur'an and took up the challenge, and because of it realized that the Qur'an is the word of God and they became Muslims. But check it out for yourself insha'Allah :-)

I'm fairly certain that the challenge is to out do the quran based on the presupposition that the quran is a perfect example and all specifications to 'challenge' it are based on how it is perfect. Therefore all deviations would make any attempt at challenging it inferior merely by setting a dishonest standard of rules. This only proves dishonesty, not the divine claim over the quran.

Instead it only grew stronger and bigger. It reached beyond Mecca, beyond the deserts of Arabia, beyond the 7th century, and now we're talking about it on cyberspace. Islam had millions of detractors beside yourself, some of the worst ones joining the faith, it continues to grow and blossom. Therefore, I'm not worried.

Just like with all other prophets, God communicated with Muhammad (saws) predominantly through the angel Gabriel. He is the angel that comes to the prophets. However, God did speak directly to Muhammad (saws) during the Isra and Miraj, which was when God taught Muhammad (saws) how to perform the Salah (daily prayers).

Give me your opinions on the idea that the Vatican/Catholics created the Qu'Ran to divide the people in the middle east? I think it's crazy but interesting read. The problem I have with this video is that your saying that as a follower your job is to correct/convert people, that's not what it's about and saying, it's about peace and to live your life for Allah. Not going to lie, the Qu'Ran speaks to much of infidels and in a non-peaceful manner.

@LafayetteAzevedo If no ones speaks up then the only voices will be the voices of hate. I feel that I have a very serious responsibility to correct the image of Islam in my community. One day insha'Allah I will be raising children here and I want them to be able to grow up in a world where people are not hostile towards Muslims.
I make an effort to avoid arguing in any case, and instead to simply teach the truth in the hope that it will be more powerful than their lies.

@dawahaddict Yes, I get it, I wouldn't want people to talk bad about the Catholic faith as well but I'm a grown up and see that people have free CHOICE so that means that if someone chooses to speak against my beliefs or cause violence in the name of some other religion then I don't take that person serious, just another person that doesn't truly know the messege of God. People are Hostile towards Muslims (like crazy) but some Muslim figures have given the Qu'Ran a bad image.

@dawahaddict Your a positive outlook and I think you should spread the messege to all people even Muslims because its all one God. Even though of a religion it really doesn't matter because God takes the cake in the end. You can pray, do rituals and follow a mans word but in the end it doesn't matter.

Sometimes I feel that Muhammed is held at too high of a position but people say that about Jesus aswell so Im not going to argue it. We can both agree, it's God that matters no matter what religion/faction your apart of.

Second, ( this is why I many REAL Christians don't consider Catholics to be real Christians) Jesus says He is the way and the light, NO ONE comes to the Father but though Him. Think about that buddy.

@dawahaddict A prophet receives messeges and delivers them, Jesus already knew the messege, didnt need to be told, he is God himself, inside him , he already had all the knowledge and all he had to do is spread it about. A prophet is a man, a messenger for God, someone that see's a burning bush, angels, and gold tablets.

Read that whoel chapter and you'll see for yourself that Jesus knew that his time had come and was getting ready for his final hour. John's Gospel isn't opinion.

@LafayetteAzevedo Again, who is the speaker? It's not Jesus (as) saying these things. It's the author(s) of the book. Where did they get the information? Who did they hear it from? Who gave them the particular interpretation that they hold? These are important questions that any historian will ask.

@dawahaddict What if you do all this, (this goes for both of us) and in the end it's either nothing or we all wake up in a field with Unicorns and God is more of a corporate figure now, with the times, you know, that is why religion is crazy. There are know REAL answers and thats why there are hundreds of religion and texts and gospels and so forth because everyone thinks, "Well I'm right because... no, I'm right because..." So in the end just remember to always stay positive and focus on that.

I used to think that way until I found out that there actually is proof for Islam, and you actually can know that it is the truth. The only reason I used to think there could not be proof in religion is because I was only exposed to religions for which there was no proof.

Are the Jews right with the Old Testament and not accepting Jesus and then Catholics accepting Jesus and the Moses and then Islam accepting both but in a different light... Buddha, Joseph Smith, Hindu... there are a bunch, who has the right to say "I'm right!" That's why to me religion is personal and should never be pushed onto people.

Well I dont believe you experience this reality from Gods perspective, you as a man must interpret what evidence God has chosen to let you see. From that you draw conclusions on what path to follow. See you try to correct my view of God and tell me how it is according to your perspective of this one Reality - this is why I believe God speaks differently to each man and thus everyone has a unique experience and hence must follow a unique path. I think this popular idea that everyone is right and no one is wrong no matter what twisted beliefs they hold is entirely insincere and comes from the erroneous belief that there can be no proof for religion. If there is no proof, then we can't be held accountable, right? Well, in Islam, we actually have the evidence to back up our belief. God always gave his prophets signs. The sign of our time is the Qur'an.

I believe religious institutions do not serve mans best interest spiritually. Many great men have lived before and they tried to teach us a good path but institutions distort their wisdom and degrade to a sandbox-arguing who is right and wrong when the case might be that everyone is right, just different perspectives. I believe you will find God inside, not outside - God is God no matter what name you choose.

You are correct to a point. Often throughout history the teachings of God's prophets have been distorted and developed into man-made institutions. However, I am talking about an instance in which the message of God's prophet was no distorted, and established a God-made institution. That's what Islam is. Two conflicting beliefs cannot both be true, so can we really say that everyone is right? There is one reality. You can call God any fitting name, but Jesus (as), for example, is a man, not God.

the Quran clearly states that a person who kills another innocent person is not in fact a Muslim.
i'm from Kuwait and there is no terrorism in our country, and yes as women we can drive, yes we can vote, yes we can work, and YES we are Muslims and we don't go around killing people.

Jesus (as) is the servant and messenger of God, not His son, may God forgive me. Don't you realize how horrible such a statement is? How can you insult God by saying He has a son? This life is temporary, and we will all be returned to God, and on that day we will have to answer for our actions in this life. Jesus (as) said God is ONE, not three-in-one. There is no greater sin than associating partners with God Almighty.
