I remember playing this with a jazz band a couple years ago. Really enjoyable performance and well-polished solos to everyone. Mark, what kind of bass are you using here? It has a nice, clean but big tone.
@P13666 Thanks man, using a Peavey Cirrus here. For jazz I mainly solo the neck pickup (to get the nice round bottom end) and boost the mids a bit (to keep it articulate) -- in doing this, you get a tone that has a quick attack on the highs and a slower one on the lows, giving the sort of pseudo-upright sound, in a sense. Not to over-complicate it or anything, but just explaining!
