  • i have a st24 in radiant red fantastic car and car say the st200 is only half a second quicker to 60mph even with 204bhp the st24 has 169bhp but all together both fantastic cars to drive. nice one pal

  • ST24 is the better car, easier to get more power, torque is better throughout range.

  • Mate?? what happend??????? the 200 should of murderd the 24,,,,, your letting the side down man!! fix it up bro..

  • wtf the st24 went flying ahead, its got like 30 less hp learn to drive lol

  • which ones which???

  • @discocreator76 The silver one was my ST24, the blue one is the ST200 which is now just a shell with a roll cage! lol

Didn't quite know what to do with it when I kept it so it was turned into a wee project for our local track.

It's been out a month or so ago, my videos are up on here, it's now matt black

  • @EmzST24 Cool, Ive got a 2.5 Si and love it, fancy a ST24 or 200 though!

  • The ST200 had a shit start :}

  • @adslegend

    just turn off the ASR

  • st200 driver is drivin like a mum takin the kids 2skool .lolz.

  • really a bmw e63? are you a travelling carpet salesman?

  • some1 explain how the st24 beat the st200?? ... i might buy an st200 end of the month

  • would of been down to the driver or the ST24 had extreme modification's.. if you still want to buy an ST200 look on my page because mine is for sale :)

  • St24 (or indeed any mk2 v6) has more low down torque than an st200, or so i've been told. But it looks like the st200 driver was just rubbish...might have had traction control on lol

  • can i say that the ST200 is faster then the ST24 so this video is down to the drivers tbh..and before any one says sumin stubid about my comment i do own a ST200 ..hava look on my videos tbh and i should no beucase ive beat a ST24 hands down..i have 210+bhp he has under 200bhp both standerd will mines had air system done and exhausts done

  • nobody cares

  • so why bother leavein a comment!!!!!

  • because u need 2 know how boring u sound

  • Comment removed

  • A brain problem? As one of HSBC's most sucessful asset managers I can choose a nice company car. But the vauxhall is a genuine one owner vehicle that gives me the working class perspective.

  • well if your going to bang on about your 2008 e63, lets talk about my veyron or my spaceship or something else i dont own but come on here and make out i do lol LOSER HAHAHA!!!

  • lol

  • Fuck Fords full stop. My v6 Cavalier is faster than both of these shit heaps. And if your going to bang on about your Cosworth we can talk about my 2008 E63.

  • you again?!?!?!?go fuck yourself

  • A cossie would probably fuck over ur E63......

  • the st24 can keep up with a new audi TT 3.24wd round corners

  • In a nutshell the 200 is about 40bhp more than the 24, the Uppers are different and so are the internls but appart from that they are pretty much the same car and handle alike

  • @EmzST24 st200 is ~30 more HP, not 40 and they do not handle alike because the ST200 has a different steering rack and quicker steering. The difference in power is due to inlet manifolds, airbox, exhaust, bigger injectors and ECU map.

  • sry but what´s the difference between 24 and 200

  • The ST200 is better than st24...

  • which ones which? - mk2 noob ^^

  • This car has now been written off thanks to sum asshole in a saxo who wasnt happy I overtook him, the wank ran me off the road so the car is no longer.

I have got a new 24 which will be running the quarter mile at the end of the month, new video hopefully then aswell

Thanks for all the comments guys, appreciated

  • @EmzST24 well if thats true, words probably cant even express what you would do with that dumb fuck if you got him in your hands.

  • mi dad has a si 24 check the video out on my acoount it has full new blueflamed exhausts frou fanx

  • Its the torque thats the problem, my other halfs reved really high whereas mine didnt so I got better traction. I think if you get the revs up then break off the accelerator for a sec and plant it again your traction control should take effect enough to get the desired stick to pull off.

  • hi does any1 no any tips on how to get a st200 off the line quicker because we raced it at santapod and it lost because we couldnt get off the line quick enough any tips gratefull thanks

  • sell it and buy a cozzy mate.

  • Where do you get a cozzy for less than 1000 pound? Let me know cause i would have one too.

  • granada cosworth pal, pure power for £300 notes.

  • i assume the V6 ST24 won?

  • Eventually the ST200 took me out by about 3 tenth of a second at the end of the 1/4 mile. His car s a wee bit faster than mine top end so I can complain

  • Just bought an st24,what an awesome car!!Mines completeley standard but i still get brown stains on the seats pulling away from lights!!Anybody recommend any subtle mods just 2 tweak it that little bit??Any suggestions much appreciated.Ta!!!!

  • I'd lower it a wee bit mate it makes it handle a wee bit better. Also put a set of Uniroyal Rainsports on it, quality tyres!

A custom induction kit and a replacement exhaust will make a difference to your performance that you will notice.

I love my car and there are gonna be a few changes made to her this year. Best of luck mate

  • yeah the k&n

  • Lower it, uopgrade the brakes and then get the st2oo inlet system/manifolds. Then de cat the exhaust or better still buy the msd headers and optimised Y pipe with a full stainless, twin exit syatem. Next is fuelling and re-mapping to get the full potential but 185bhp with the initial set od mods is easilly attainable, 220+with the fuelling upped and the computer re-mapped.

Dont go bigger than 17" wheels with 215/40 tyres though, it kills the acceleration off! Hope this helps m8!

  • i have an st24 and so want to do this, where in the north west is there a track????

  • Dunno may=te, this was taken at Crail raceway in Scotland. Im not sure where there is another 1/4 mile drag stip, I know there is one at Santa Pod right enuf.

  • Nice! Please let me add my ST start ;o)... see my video..

  • Whats the differance between the 24 and 200?

  • bout 40 bhp. they are the same car, same chassis etc same engine but the 200 puts out more power

  • well for a first time ...... its not to bad considering you was in the wet ..... my first time was 7seconds wheelspin on 3 gears lol not good oh and no tc .....have a look am my santapod video lol

  • St24's rule well done mate :)

  • Like I said before not a bad run for being a 1/4 mile virgin,I'll defo be going back thou, see if me wee mods can improve my times! lol

  • Glad to hear that it was not my imagination! To be honest I think the traction control also gives the clutch a hard time during fast launches...

A friend recently bought a Peugout 307cc, I thought it would whoop my ST24, how wrong I was, the Peugout has far less power and a great deal more weight. (The Mondeo is also less likely to catch fire)!

  • LOL yeah true, I had the traction control on for the first couple of runs as it was raining big time but as soon as it got a bit dryer I turned it off, I was amazed at the turn of speed my wee chick has like, i'm not one for driving her fast!

  • why on earth would you think a hard top convertible would whoop an ordinary hatchback? it has the same weight of metal then all those heavy motors.....oh and far less power :S

  • Glad to hear that it was not my imagination! To be honest I think the traction control also gives the clutch a hard time during fast launches...

If you look around the net some people have achieved sensible 1/4 mile times from ST24 and similar, faster than you would expect from a family car that is so economical.

  • Mine is better accelerating with the traction control off, though of course controlling the wheelspin is then up to the driver....

  • Yeah we noticed that, it was better in the wet without the traction control, bizarre but true

  • The driver in the ST200 is a hell of a lot more experienced tha me, that was my first time, 1/4 mile virgin! lol

He tanked my ass when it dried up a bit thou, my motor is a wee bitty nippy rite enuf....

  • It's prob cos the ST24 has more torque lower down than the ST200. You need to rev the nuts out of an ST200, so the inexperienced/scared would feck it up

  • well then in tht case the person drivin th st200 is a shit driver cos th st24 wud hav its ass handed to it if ther was a decent driver in it. ths was as crail yes?

  • Can you believe the ST24 is actually the silver one!!

The 200 beat it by 0.4 after like 7 runs!!
