ST: DS9 intro with Babylon 5 Season 4 intro

One of the best parts I feel, about DS9, was the wormhole, but during the War (when the series stepped up from great to kick-ass awesome) the wormhole in DS9 was never really used. That's a little sad to me, the series was still awesome though.

In my opinion season 4 of B5 had the best intro of all of them. It's almost poetry.

DS9 sucked balls compared to B5. B5 was ahead of it's time and easily matches anything on the box today. DS9 was typical Trek hippy crap. Peace and love bollocks.

I heard that when the creator heard of Deep space 9 he thought it was a copy of Babylon 5!!! But there are obviously things in DS9 that aren't in B5 and the same thing for B5.

I am glad you got it right that Worf became a Commander during DS9. Most people think he remained a Lieutenant Commander after the first Star Trek TNG movie.

To make it feel like B5, it's more about the scene transitions...it has to be fast and dynamic for this music.....and less talking heads.

This is FANTASTIC! HA! I LOVE IT. Great video edits. And what a great parody to Bab 5's season four sequence of total war. Albeit, even more chilling because I would fight the Jem'Hadar every day and twice on Sundays rather than -ever- mess with the Shadows. They scare the hell out of me.

Actually, B5 was in development long before DS9. It also has a much richer story line and far better writing. I was in an online forum discussing B5 for a full year before it ever came out.

In a way, I have to agree with you that Star Trek would have been more interesting if Christopher Franke was in charge of the music, but DS9 themes IMO was one of the most interesting and my fav. of all the ST series intros.

Your alternate intro number 3 uses it starting with 0:35 aqnd ending with 1:04. Any part after that is when the original theme falls apart.

It's not a bad idea and you picked some good scenes but the voices don't make it mix right.

The Babylon 5 - Deep Space 9 comparison has been around for some time and I think you can find sound clips of the DS9 actors speaking the same lines as the Babylon 5 theme song to make it sound more natural.
