I see no purpose in playing DX9 games on obsolete hardware for 6 years before buying the new, already out of date system which offers very little more than the first.. I go with PC any day because it can do everything and 10x more than any console and can do it 10x better. PC's are always able to use the cutting edge in computer technology, which may be expensive, but you pay for what you get and it's well worth it. PS4? XBox 720? Pffft.. my PC will have already surpassed them!

Well..for gaming pc is hooked to tellie via hdmi to play with 360 controller. It's just matter of what games will be released on which platform that makes the platform,specially on consoles as without releases sega happens. Device itself matters for fanboys as only thing changes is the look,logo and bit crunching abilities.

Consoles are for entry level gamers, beginners, and little kids (And pro gamers who want to play against the mass of console noobs because PC gamers play better generally). PC gaming is for mature, seasoned gamers. The player skill level of PC gamers is general a lot higher than your average console player. Also, PCs are for people who don't want to hear 5 year olds screaming into their damn headsets. I almost never run into little kids on the PC.

Chances are if your friend has an alienware, it has DX11, way better than DX9. Plus, the whole COD series keeps producing games in DX9. For one reason. People like you who try to brag about how good COD is, but its so old. The game is the same thing, just different guns and maps. Most game companies can't even go all out with the newest graphics .
