Please tell what video compression or maybe other settings you used for uploading this file to youtube. The quality is very nice and artefact free, I can't get the same result from youtube.

I use the open source version of H.264, x264! (google it) and I save as 1280x720 with black borders if needed (as you see on above movie). then I compress as very high quality and 6400kb/s - in the above case it results in a 250mb file or something and I just upload to youtube. With the 1280x720 pixel size it will detect "HD" and show it as such.
