That's really not LARPing, that's hitting each other. The key to LARPing is the Role-playing part. They're NOT role-playing, they're playing pretend.

Elitism like your is low, we are all in a similar boat regardless of how you look at it in the grand scheme of things.

As low as you can go, IMO, is relative. IMO, there really isn't a "lowest you can go," but I like LARPs better than tabletops because I just find it easier to roleplay, and the combat is that much more interesting.

Well, there's multiple kinds of nerds.

There are nerds that LARP, but do so in an enclosed territory and try not to disturb people outside the game.

There are nerds that go to a gaming convention. These usually cosplay, and do weird things (but again, in a building with as little other people)

Then there's these guys. I don't want to talk about them.
