  • 3:08... he is just so calm about it and it cracks me up! "initially, when i was putting his SPINAL CORD back into his back...." Jesus what a fantastic doctor!

  • kenny brack was so lucky in the accident...u ever watch indycar..u CANNOT have a better safety crew..they are there sometimes before car even comes to a rest onyl reason that many of the drivers are alive today because if the indy safety crews

  • What was this program called it had all-sorts of amazing stories on it

  • have indy changed the design of the safety fences because of this accident. it appears that this fence contributed to the destruction of the car. although he suffered appaling debilatating injuries. even a couple of years earlier- this would have definately been a fatal accident.

  • Thanks for posting, absolutely incredibly insightful video of what goes on during an accident.

  • vlie crash should of gone to f1

  • @harryspen what the fuck do you mean by that?

  • Just look at Gordon Smiley 82 crash on U tube. Most F1 drivers think Indy CARS are suicide and are not interested.Autopsy results revealed horrific results( eyeballs out of skull, brain tissue on tarmac, every bone broken and organ ruptured, most blood vessels ruptured) just shows how fragile we human s are when subjected to such forces . Racing has great risks!

  • @dbrinkm1 You can say how fragile we are, but I think you should look at the video of Mike Harmon's crash at Bristol:

    watch?v=HlxnDJ1wQbI&feature=related

Our bodies can withstand some crazy forces and still walk away. Mike Harmon wasn't helped out of the wreckage of his ripped-in-half car; he just got up and walked away without a scratch!

  • hammer

  • The description and simulation of his injuries made my hands feel numb.

    Horrific.

  • is thomas sheckter son of jody?

  • yes, he is.

  • Indy cars on an oval is really nuts. Makes no sense.

  • Indycars on ovals where all they do is floor it makes no sense...

Indycars on somewhere like pheonix makes more sense

  • ohh my god!

  • AWHHHHHHH SO PAINFUL! CRAP!

  • thats the risk of racing, particulary these kind of cars- they know the life

  • if yer gonan wreck IRL is the place to do it... they are almost to your car before it stops they have the BEST on track care of any racing league bar none.. F1 they take forever for medical car to get to a driver NASCAR is getting beter but still not the response time of indy car Kenny brack was so lucky that he wasnt more seriously injured but still had an 18 month recovery from this wreck

  • Is it worth it? All the money and glory for driving those cars cannot be worth that. They are not forced to drive them and to them i guess its just a job....but is it worth putting your family through that??

  • It's worth every damn second of it man.

It's not all about for your family or for the money.. to people like me, it's about the dream, the speed, the Sunoco Blue smell everytime you fir the car..

It's love bro.. and when you love something.. it's worth it all.

  • every form of racing is dangerous, rallying, f1, nascar, motorbike racing, the drivers and riders know the risks

  • yea i know but the crashes are just way too horrific

  • true but its unbelievable how safe and stong the cars are

  • true

  • holy fuck !

  • Great video, very very lucky man.
