That big guy in X3 is just some random guy. I watched the commentary and they said it would be a cool power. but really it was just a way to show off the special effects.
Personally, as one of the many Agent Zero fans, I was seriously put off by the way they portrayed him in this film. They could of at least kept his mutant powers. I'm just really left wondering why they made him Asian, and suddenly evil. Though I was happy that there was an alternate scene where he gets away from the heli before it explodes, but in the end, that doesn't really make up for it.
So I digged more. It was a freaking deleted planned scene. Had my hopes up about it. But it was a deleted scene that was supposed to be on the DVD, but they left it off.
I dont think think they need to reboot the deadpool movie because they can fix the mistakes. Such as when deadpool puts his head back on he can break the four wall making some kind of comment about the baraka blade and rip them out of his forearms(and it is possible because the addanitium is indestructible not the tissue connecting it to his body) and remember in the movie the doctor who was working on deadpool said the the bonding is not complete so deadpool will lose his extra powers
The issue with the "it's not fulled bonded yet" idea is that it is Adamantium and it has to be cooled down or he wouldn't be able to move. So this in mind if he were to reject the adamantium he'd have to reject his whole skeleton and and you can't grow back a skeleton (let alone the brain that would have to leave with the skull) from nothing.
We Canadians actually fought in the American civil war they helped out the North by pretending to help out the south and helping the slaves hescape then after they helped out the slaves they fully joined the North.
I liked the Dog reference when he said Sabretooth.

All and all the plot is mediocre and if you watch this film from a singular stand point (meaning not thinking about the comics or the other movies) it makes enough sense to work.
But if you really want to see a good movie. Go see Star Trek or Watchmen if you can find it.

I hate the bullet deflection thing. Because eh wasn't moving fast enough. It needed to be something like in Metal Gear Solid wear the sword moves so fast you can barely see it.
Also when he split the bullet, it shoudl have hit those two guys. It should have split and kept going and hit him. That's just physics.

Okay. The ending with Deadpool you described isn't accurate. There's no ninjas. What happens is Weapon XI's head is on the ground his arm reaches over and his eyes open. And yes his mouth is open again.
As much as i did enjoy it... Its true it was pretty disappointing to see how they reversed wade/deadpool. They removed the whole thing that made him deadpool. I mean when i saw him I thought he was going to cut open his mouth and call him a dick or somethin. but no he just went ninja on him. I didn't think that they'd do Deadpool like the comic book Deadpool. I was right, and I wasn't disappointed. I just treated him as a new character. Wade/Ryan/Pool even got me to chuckle. I don't see the problem.

Hey great review, I just saw the Wolverine movie, your right about a lot of things. I wish they would have made you better in the movie. Let me tell you, your "Deadpool's day out" Deadpool, was a hundred times better than Wolverine Origins Deadpool.
I liked it, but i thought it was to Character Cameo Oriented. Like all the wanted to do was introduce characters and then get rid of them. The only characters i walked away caring about were Sabretooth and Silver Fox ( a little)... and i guess Wolvie too. ok i saw the stupid thing yesterday and then saw a pirated copy of db evolution and thought db evo was a much much better film in comparison. 1st of all it is not an original idea to make a shitty movie out of a great franchise. it has been happening a lot over the pass years. The movie was so-so with me. I didn't see on the internet, so I was told there wasn't much difference in what came out in the theaters.
I wasn't entirely pleased with what I saw and hope this doesn't ruin the X-men franchise like Batman and Robin ruined the its run in the 90s.

That depends on your definition of good.
All and all the plot is mediocre and if you watch this film from a singular stand point (meaning not thinking about the comics or the other movies) it makes enough sense to work.
But if you really want to see a good movie. Go see Star Trek or Watchmen if you can find it.

First of all I didn't say those things can't happen. I just said they looked funny.
Second of all you can prove something is right by using an example from the Ultimate universe.
I hate the bullet deflection thing. Because eh wasn't moving fast enough. It needed to be something like in Metal Gear Solid wear the sword moves so fast you can barely see it.
Also when he split the bullet, it shoudl have hit those two guys. It should have split and kept going and hit him. That's just physics.

Okay. The ending with Deadpool you described isn't accurate. There's no ninjas. What happens is Weapon XI's head is on the ground his arm reaches over and his eyes open. And yes his mouth is open again.

As much as i did enjoy it... Its true it was pretty disappointing to see how they reversed wade/deadpool. They removed the whole thing that made him deadpool. I mean when i saw him I thought he was going to cut open his mouth and call him a dick or somethin. but no he just went ninja on him. Kinda lame but hell its a good holdover until the DP movie comes out.

I hear a lot about this supposed ending where Renyolds shows up and finds WeaponXi's head. But I haven't seen it. Or met anyone who has. And why would they have two Deadpool endings? That makes no sense.

I liked it, but i thought it was to Character Cameo Oriented. Like all the wanted to do was introduce characters and then get rid of them. The only characters i walked away caring about were Sabretooth and Silver Fox ( a little)... and i guess Wolvie too. I don't think they built any emotion (negative or positive) to Wade or the other characters. I thought Sabretooth was awesome and would say it is worth watching just for his character.

I'll still check out the movie. If I remember correctly, Wolverine was given Adamantium Claws in a lab instead of being in a Lake or Waterfall. I know it was based on the Origins Comic, but it's strange. Great Review and nice costume.

DBevo was a kids movie that didnt try to be anything else wolverine just sucked should have saved my money and watched the pirated version i had gotten a month earlier rather then opting to "enjoy" it in theaters

I am a BIG fan of x-men. Being a wolvie fan aside, Gambit is gonna kick the most ass. But instead of bitching that the movie isn't going to be the exact same story we've all heard before, shouldn't we enjoy the idea of getting to see old favs in new perspectives? I think this movie will be killer, especially considering what else is coming out

It's not a question of changing things. Adaptions should do just that ADAPT to another medium. But when you change a character so much that it's not recognizable anymore then that's a failure in my book. You'll notice I didn't give it a terrible review I said there were a lot good things about it.

everyone knows that there is too much material to make a movie that chronologically covers the entire x-men series. you'd have to be an idiot to think they could do it in fewer than 50 movies. Movies like this pay homage to a series as much as they do re-create it for future generations. You have to accept the fact that things change with time. 1st of all it is not an original idea to make a shitty movie out of a great franchise. it has been happening a lot over the pass years. Even great movies can have shitty sequels (Batman forever, bring it on 2/3/4, your moms sex films). You probably thought legend of chun -li or dragon ball evolutions were great movies. making a great film from a shitting test screening is hard to do and i doubt that this movie will do x-men's film franchise justice.
