George W. Bush still had more consecutive years of job growth than any other president in American history. It has been wiped out by a massive reset of the global economy. And really don't try and attack Representative Flake. Flake is considered to be one of the best people in congress. He and John McCain both of Arizona have never asked for earmarks of any sort. Both are patriots that should be supported by people of all political idealogies.

If you recall, our current economic crisis was created by the very VERY erroneous lending practices by Banks giving bad morgage loans thus leading to the massive burst in the 'Housing Bubble'. All of this dates back further than Bush's term and was encouraged by groups like ACORN and the Democratic legistators. Economists, given time, will show Bush and his party weren't the root of the problem.

Collateralized debt obligations, massive sovereign funds seeking large returns, corrupt rating industry, deregulation of capital markets, asset bubble in housing market, deregulation of mortgage instruments, these contributed to the financial crises taking the job economy with it.
